As a new player how am I suppose to know what a "Meter" is in POE2?

When I hover Presence, it says "By default this has a 6 metre radius" but I have no scale to go off of to distinguish what a metre even is. It would be cool if when I hover over Presence. That a "Circled Indicator" showing increments of 5, 10, 15, etc metres. So at least we can get an idea of where our area of influence is.

I also have the same question.

Is this a problem because you don´t know the metric system, or is it about what a meter is "in game"?

For refference, you could just go with roughly three lenghts of the character model.

+1 For this, fantastic idea. I know how long a meter is in real life but I don't know how long it is in PoE scaling.

Wait are you saying my character is only a meter tall? (Ok the witch IS kinda short) 6 Feet is roughly 1.8 meters. I mean Warrior is like 7 feet tall so you know he is about 2.1 meters, I'd put Merc at least the 6 feet.

Lol joking but yea an indicator would'nt be a bad idea.

They could also just copy Diablo 2, and have the outer perimeter of your aura glow.

A "Meter" means something is "nearby" you.

Wiki will eventually have a visual to show, if not already (it did for the dozen definitions of "nearby" at one point, I believe), but we will never be able to see in-game because GGG does not like giving players detailed information in-game.

“Nearby” is also a measurement used in game

The quickest way to get an approximation would be to use an Area of Effect skill or spell that puts down some effect on the ground.

For Sorcs, for example, Orb of Storm is a good one. The Sigil of Power given by Chiming Staff is another candidate.

To be fair it is technically documented. By players.
