I still didn't claim to have a valid argument there. I just said you sounded overconfident. :)

But to the actual question since we're now talking about long term game and not EA: I'd pin it at about a 0% chance of ever happening. They've talked a lot before in interviews and presentations about the concept of "Borrowed Power" (though it's unfortunately hard to search for specific statements out of collections of interviews). Having a temporary league allows them to make league content overpowered and exciting, and play with big numbers and exciting, unusual effects, knowing that before it gets introduces into the permanent league it will get scaled appropriately for that environment. Some aspects of leagues are too powerful to ever go into a permanent according to their philosophy, but they're still fun and exciting experiences they want to provide to players. That's not the only reason I've seen or heard, but definitely the most significant and one they've extremely consistently remained firm on. For better or worse, if you want to experience the full power new content brings, you're going to have to participate in the fresh league or wait for the watered-down version to hit standard. Fine feedback for sure, I just wouldn't recommend getting your hopes up.

None of what you've written is a valid argument for excluding the standard league from the novel updates. You've now reinforced what I said earlier:

You can disagree and post here all you want, just letting you know that's not something there's any indication they will EVER change. So don't get your hopes up, it's not happening.
