Auction House > Trade Site

One improvement I would like to suggest is an in game Auction House. I believe you would have more people involved and it would be much easier to buy items. As it is you have to wait for the person to be online - whisper them - get together and exchange items. By that time I am no longer liable to want or need the item.

I just really believe an in game Auction House would work much better.

It will not make the game better. They purposely have it in to create friction between gaining access to item upgrades on the touch of the button. You'll be playing the auction house more than the actual game when it comes to getting gear

People play the trade website more than the game. Your point is? AH would be so much better, you old men just don't want to adapt to the new world.

There are a lot of problems with trade but having both a shitty way to trade AND the game being balanced around people trading is the worst of all worlds.

Agreed. POE 2 should stop telling us how to have fun. First of all I've played these games like WoW and BDO and many others for years that had an online AH

An auction makes it so you dont have to wait for a player to come online only to find out the gear you wanted has already been sold - or - they now want a different price (playing games) - Or you have now progressed and no longer need the gear - etc etc. I am sure they have their beliefs on why they don't want an online AH or it might just to difficult to keep up with program ??? I dont know - as a gamer that really only wants to play the game I strongly believe some kind of in game Auction House would be much preferable and increase satisfaction compared to the trade website. Plus it would level the gear playing field for the gamer that plays alone quite a bit and doesn't know a lot of people.

yeah yeah AH, before opening a new thread about it, how about searching the forums? We had this topic for the last 10 years at least 5 times a league.
There will be no auction house. Accept it and find peace or don't.

game needs auction house asap. I wont buy any support packs until there is AH. THE TIME IS NOW.

Very new and fresh idea. Weird no one thought about this before.
It would solve all problems and not create new ones.

Trading is supposed to be easy after all.

GGG doesn't want an Auction House.

They want this kind of trading, like a Black Market. You get lucky if you get a seller who is honest and fair.
If you get a shady seller, a seller who wants a higher price than what is posted, or just someone who collects messages so he can up the price, and lots of overpriced items to see who will bite, etc. = GGG will let it be.
They want it that way.

They want us to grind for currency. And when you grind, then you play... longer.
