Yeah I don't know what to tell you. If you are trying to get a perfect build it will take either a lot of currency or a lot of time grinding. Thats the point of end game in any RPG. That being said you don't need either to complete everything in end game. I suggest the next time you login to prioritize what you want to get out of the game and readjust your expectations.

I stopped playing also, for different reasons though. Waiting on marauder. Titan isn't it for me.

why exactly you need astramentis to quit over not getting it? its not like there is any content that could be labeled even remotely hard as soon as you get ingenuity and howa

This clown literally played 650 hours and he's crying about not getting the rarest drop in the game.

You should have EASILY made enough currency to afford it itself. It would takes less than 2 weeks to farm 260 DIV with any juiced breach farming strat with quant stacking.

There are different people, that have different understanding about what is considered "playing" and what not.

What I can say, is that there are currently very specific and very limited number of BiS items.

You can play with 2 breach rings.
(2 x 100% = 200% DPS stats)
Those rings can be boosted by 50%.
(2x 150% = 300% DPS stats)
Those rings can be doubled with Ingenuity (almost)
And you get 600% DPS stats.

I, personally, think, that if you are not building your character with this optimal 600% stat increase, you are not actually "playing".

Absolutely the same issue lies in the amulet you mention.

Can you "play" without it - yes.
Will your build be complete garbage compared to others that run it - yes.

this is not grind anymore, while some of you are laughing and pointing fingers I think how could this be, this guy probably run one of the bullshit builds, and yet even him couldn't farm what he wants, there is no excuse, 600 hours in this game should be enough to farm everything, even double if alone, if a casual player play two hours a day every day for almost 10 months... wow I can't even imagine.

there is a limit to grinding, hearing this made me doubt if I should come back even if my 'problem' was fixed, he has a huge point that I didn't stop to think, 600 hours and he couldn't get his item he specifically was trying to farm, it wasn't like a random item it was a item he know where it drops and farmed exclusively for it, this is crazy.

absolutely not, if you can get everything easily there is no reason to play anymore. if we wanted that we would be playing Diablo 4. i am very happy that there are items that are actually rare.
