unique weapons deal useless damage? solution: scale with charlevel
There are high level weapons ... for casters. My highest item i have found is for level 78.
I play a level 92 ranger. I have no idea why i cant choose this one here in the forum. I played poe1 long time but then stopped for years and bought a new account on steam. "bought"? Another way for unique weapons: they are like rares but have always these 2 prefixes: damage and %damage (you still have to roll for high numbers). give them 3 other stats and 1 special feature Okay, i know 1 reason why early game uniques should be too good: slow fights are good for learning. With my level 92 ranger i dont see what the enemies are casting. They just die before i can see them. rares die under my frost barrage or rain of arrows. I run with 149% movement speed through the map (if i only click once a second on my attack then i dont move slower. Full attack means 3,27 shots per second. 68k dps lightning arrow). Sadly sometimes i die instant :-( another problem: i can destroy uniques for orb of chances. " theres lots of strong endgame uniques in poe1 and quite a few that are best in slot for very powerful builds. they arnt actually against making powerful uniques at all. they just havent added most endgame uniques to poe2 yet. the only endgame base items in poe2 right now afaik are caster weapons, shields, rings, belts and amulets? all the other base items, armour slots, bows, maces, staves etc, they only have bases for acts 1-3 thats why all the uniques on those slots are low level items for levelling. like paint master says they made the first 3 acts and uniques for those acts, then just threw some endgame together, copy/pasta acts1-3 for 4-6 along with all the base items, called them advanced and expert and threw it out there. advanced and expert keth raiments are not actually a thing, thats a placeholder for the proper items that will drop from the real act4-endgame zones. thats why we dont have actual endgame energy shield unique body armours like these in the game yet... theres tons of endgame es and hybrid es armours in poe1 that are used. but you cant have a shavs yet in poe2 cause an occultist vestment doesnt exist, it tops out at whatever drops in act3 then you just have placeholder bases to fill out the rest of the game for now. theres 0 items like this in the regular drop pool atm right? theres no way thats how the game is going to stay. i dont know why ggg doesnt communicate things like this, it feels like they ran out of time and theyre hesitant to admit how much of the game systems are missing or placeholders. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

My problem: when i level a new character, none of these find a unique on their own. I mean: I dont find a unique when i need it. I am sure: none of my characters have found a single unique when they leveled till 30. The first unique found my warrior and ... it was a caster item. At this point: 90% uniques are only for twinks/smurfs/new chars |

4 Reasons: 1. Some uniques are only meant for leveling purposes. They don't need to scale, they just give you an advantage in certain levels. And they are supposed to be good for your second, third, fourth character. 2. Some uniques are only there to enable certain creative builds and are not meant to be just used as a regular weapon 3. GGG will add many more uniques. Therefore, there will be enough that are useable for all kinds of purposes. 4.
