NO POINT in trials if I can buy my way for 1 div

Time and frustration those trials give is beyond 1 div.

This is hands down the worst game design I have ever seen in games...

Most important class perks are behind MOST frustrating game modes...

And if I can buy it for 1 div, WHY THE HELL I will ever do them????

This is literally every game that have direct trade between players.
Why to farm items, if you can buy them?
Why to farm keys to bosses, if you can buy a way to them?
Why to do trials, if you can buy access?
But.. why to play, if you don't want to? So what that you can buy access?
I do not get that at all. If you want do the trail and have fun with it - just do it. If don't - buy yourself access. If it is not worth for either your time or cost of accessing - don't do it at all.

I did all of the trails by myself, and for me it was fun.
Being carried through character progression is a weird concept.

It can and I'm fine with it.
There is a point in trials; People who are patient and willing to learn, will be able to complete them and get satisfaction from it (plus loot). And people who are impatient (or have two left arms) can pay other players to carry them ;)

Paying for progression has always been staple GGG game design - so don't worry - you are playing the game as intended.

Well, I guess actually there is something fun in selling achievements to players who is willing to pay for playing game for them. I don't even mind that places in the leaderboards would be sellable, why not — it is just another achievement after all. Though I personally would prefer for achievements to be linked with the player's skill, but I guess it's the question of preferences in the game design, some people may like it this way.

I absolutely hate trial of suckmyass as melee.

However, if I'm guessing correctly, the problem is made massively worse by not having any other option.

It's likely we will have 3, maybe 4 trials to choose from going forward and the ability to completely one or two if our build cannot do them. If that's how it's planed to be, it should be fine. More content and more options is always the way to go.

If not, it would be better to remove suckmyass from being a requirement for ascendency points.
That the current implementation can permit certain player behavior is not necessarily a reason that it should permit such behavior.
