Its always been great that GGG has been straightforward and really happy with the announcement. Focusing on PoE2 is by far the best decision and gives me even more confidence that they are doing what they think is best, rather than listen to a bunch of players that are too attached to a video game.

this is the opposite of straight forward, they baited the poe1 playerbase for months and waited until the last minute before telling us there will be no poe1 league.
Straight forward would have been to tell us 3-4 months ago that there might not be a new poe1 league for a while | |

" Very true, clearly Jonathan was praying he could deliver even though by his own admission in this video it always looked doubtful .. the respectful thing for him to have done was at the very least warn the PoE1 players who are (were?) still invested in it that there may be delays ahead for 3.26. He changed EA plans to try to avoid the "NO ENDGAME" cries D4 was rightly slammed for .. though that was on RELEASE not an 'EA' .. and ended up delivering an unsatisfying campaign with no ending and no real link into the 'endgame' which as it turns out is very meh if you're not a PoE1 sweat able to kill the pinnacle bosses within a week of one-shot screen clearing Jonathan said PoE2 was NOT about! By straightforward and transparent you mean letting us know 2 days before something was promised while you knew for 6 months it is not going to happen but you still decided to bait even a month ago?
