RMT.....OR NOT
ignore the rmt nonsense, dont do it youll get banned, ignore the pretense thats what everyone with wealth is doing or needs to do etc... forget rmt its a bannable offense, it makes playing the game pointless and its irrelevant.
do listen to the people talking about how to make currency through trade. thats what you want, if your budget for gear is simply the raw divines and exalts that drop for you then you are not really playing the trading game. if you are self found then use the currency to craft, if you are trading then trade, buy AND sell. theres 100 divines out there. i find an item and sell it for 100 divines. i then buy 2 items for 50 divines each. those guys go and buy items for 50 divines from the same guy. he has 100 divines now, he buys a 100 divine item. that guy comes to me and buys a 100 divine item. i spend the 100 divines again... ive now spent 200 divines despite having dropped 0 divines. thats how the economy works, we can have 100 total divines in circulation and each be spending 200 per day as long as that 100 keeps circulating around and around. you need to find a way into that circulation. thats the key. i traded a lot in poe1, im self found in poe2 so i cant tell you the best way to do that in this economy. but its almost never about finding raw divines, that helps a bit but its like hmcg020 is saying. check the market, what are breach stones worth? simus? what are fates worth? what are the chaos, chance orbs etc you find worth? find things you can farm that have trade value and become a seller, find a way into that flow of currency. farming useful consumables with a reliable drop rate is a good baseline activity. obviously thats hard right now because theres so little content in the game. just got to do what you can do and over time more avenues into the market will be added. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Stop waiting for lucky drops, collect stuff and trade. I guess no one can expect to drop the 150+ divs you need for an average build nowadays.
Pick up and check some of the drops. Make yourself familiar with what might be valuable. |
