Elemental Gas Arrow Poison Pathfinder [Immortal / Bossing / Sims / Mapping / All Content T4] 0.1.1e

I think he meant the inverse -- increased elemental damage doesn't work. Conversion happens first, so anything that increases ele dmg wont apply with original sin. Has to be flat dmg only. I have never seen a way to get original sin to work personally. HoWa is the best bet and it's not enough.

Thx for reply. So we can confirm that it's only elemental damage doesn't work, attack damage and projectile are ok right?

About original sin choiche: in these days i doing some test, and need more time; ok we loose all elemental damage bonus but we can rely on the physical damage which still contributes to the poison magnitude and also, as you said, there is the flat increase of HoWA. I currently have 350 intelligence, which converts to 35-350 flat chaos damage. I need to do several tests to see where I can push it, but the current currency doesn't allow me to try everything I would like XD

I've tried what you're describing in PoB, and I can't really get much damage out of it. You'd need to focus on increased % chaos damage nodes. It might be better to use a different ability like PConc for this, that has base chaos.
I think I'm missing something about the passive tree... I'm level 90 and have ascended to get the extra 6 passive tree points but there is still about 27 nodes i have to fill according to you're most recently updated pob passive tree (increased move speed) do we get a bunch more points from hitting level 100 or something? I could have swore I got all the spellbooks that grant extra passive points... Also I understand the elemental flat damage now, wasn't ever giving the actual gloves a look. Thanks for pointing that obvious clue out!

I would assume that the only way that you’d be this many points off what you’d expect is if the weapon set points aren’t very clearly distinguished in the PoB. The points that are on a more red/orange path than normal are Weapon Set 1 points, and the points on a green path are Weapon Set 2 points. These are essentially the same 24 points duplicated twice.

Ingame you’d need to unallocate 24 points and then activate each weapon set and re-allocate them. I’ve included some tips on what to choose for each set for your 24 points if you can’t strictly follow the PoB.
I guess I'm not looking at the correct page.

I guess I'm not looking at the correct page, i don't see any colored paths on the passive tree on the PoB link... just the blue backdrop and gear set and passive tree with all the nodes you've chosen selected. Is there a PoB app I should be using instead?

Yeah man, download Path of Building 2 and import the code.
got it, thanks.

I definitely learned a lot from your pob cri! I copied a lot of your setup and it actually taught me how deep the options go in pob, I wasn't deep into poe1 so I hadn't used it before. Being able to set how many clouds I have or how much the boss is withered or cursed is amazing.

As for the build For me it seemed like there was a point where magnitude stopped being the most valuable thing but I've tested so many things I may be mistaken. As is I'm happy with where I'm at even if I could maybe tailor it slightly more perfectly.

And I like your idea of scaling something besides dmg since the last bunch of increases haven't felt that important. Tho I do love it when number goes up lol. Maybe some move speed is worth sacrificing for. I couldn't find a way to justify the dmg Los to route to more es, although I see your build of course. It's just so many nodes and it doesn't feel like a lot more es for me. But I'll reconsider, or maybe add more evasion.

I finally started a second character but I love the feel of this one so much. The way it kills a crowded hallway is just perfection to me hahaha.

So I just realized we can set all of our intelligence needed for a high level despair gem on the 2nd weapon set tree and it still lets us use the skill at the click of a button even though weapon set 1 has nowhere close to enough intelligence. This a huge help if you don’t wanna stack intelligence on weapon set 1 for no reason. Nice.

Anyway, so when I cast Despair now, I see i get about a -72% debuff from it on the enemy. Is this a good number to be at or could I be lacking in some area? What other ways or options do I have to buff my despair debuff to get it over -100%? If any. Perhaps something on my gear? Would it be “magnitude of ailments?” Being the key?

How did this perform with a bow like yours? Cant find one like the OP thats not 100d so may need to skimp some here. Able to still do SIMS?

I'm lvl 94 so there's some points in dmg on this tree that I haven't gotten yet, but this is what I'm working with currently

https://maxroll.gg/poe2/pob/sv82u05q

added more evasion for less little hits, I'd removed it as I added more ES but I don't want to lose the balance. especially trying to do Simulacrum really makes it hard to ignore.
I'm not sure what SIMS means and I have a new bow from when I posted that (I still use that bow with no +skills for my 2nd weapon slot, applying wither and cursing)

what I will say is definitely keep searching for bows and don't over stress on + skills. some people will sell lots of dmg cheap because it only has a few +skills and that imo is well worth it.

I search bows all the time and there's some that are imo massively overpriced OR I got a ludicrous deal on mine with the dps it has. not sure which I guess.

Either way, I'd definitely say you don't need a best-ever bow as long as you've got damage elsewhere. the elemental dmg can be found all over, it really opened up the possibilities compared to when I tired to do phys only.
