0.1.1c Patch Notes

Am I missing something, or is the name swap feature impossible to use? The link provided just takes me to a page that only displays poe1 characters. I can't find any link from there that shows my poe2 characters

Look on the right side. There's an option called "Rename Character". That takes you right to the interface. Swapped a lot of my character names and it works perfectly. Just make sure you're not logged in the game first.
So far, it looks like the fix for freezing is working for me. Thank you GGG team for the efforts, I was able to play the game without issue tonight. I appreciate the work.
Where is this bug fix? Literally the most important bug fix for your finances, and for our gsmeplay.

Fixed a bug where players couldn't use points they had bought in game.

18 days, 18 days we waited, almost 3 weeks for the next patch, and thats it? Im not going to sit here and pretend that im angry, but its pretty disappointing. Half of that wall of text could have been done a week ago, boss portals, league mechanic icons, ect, all easy quick fixes that would have been good to just roll out as they where done, but instead, get added to a near 3 weeks patch...just disappointing

Are you a game developer or something? And how do you know GGG's work cycle? You're making A LOT of assumptions based on your capriciously hurt feelings over a game that is still in development. This is Early Access. We're testing the game for them. They will release fixes when they are ready to. Remember that.

Not sure if serious or not, so ill Ask.

Do you think that, essentially copying the same code they used for Arbitor map portals, and porting it to other bosses, takes 18 days?

Do you think, that League mechanic map icons, which are ALREADY IN THE GAME, is hard to make permanent on the map? Like, this is some pretty BASIC code, becauses its already in the game.

Now, if None of the league mechanics showed up on the map, and the arbitor portals wasnt already done, i'd agree, might have taken longer, but they are literally porting over code that has already been tested and adding it to other content, that job, doesnt take close to 3 weeks, and could have been posted as a inbetween patch, and didnt need to be put off.

I am not sure how much development experience you have but sometimes things that seem simple are much more complex once you get into the code. You are assuming that the code is modular enough for this to be easy and that all of the developers have a similar familiarity with the codebase. Most codebases become a mess eventually and if they are indeed using code from poe1 I doubt it is the pinnacle of good coding practices.

As a manager it is hard enough to know how long a task will take at the start of a sprint. Scrum masters have to take into account what developer is doing the task as well as the complexity of the task. There is no way that a third party could know how long something would take to do especially this late in development.

Not to mention they most likely have a team actively working on Acts 4-6 and their best developers are probably working on that. New guys tend to get bug fixes and maintenance duties.
