Path of Exile 2 Needs an Auction House

I really think PoE2 should have an Auction House

Instant Buyout + Bot Prevention = Less Frustration
The biggest issue with trading right now is how unreliable it is. Between price fixers, people not responding, and endless whispers, it's just frustrating. A properly limited auction house with instant buyout and effective bot banning would make trading so great.

Play the Game, Not the Trade Window
Right now, trading forces you to stop playing, sit in your hideout, and hope someone responds. With an auction house, you could list items and actually enjoy the game while still selling/buying gear. It would let us focus more on playing, not spamming trade messages.

The Currency Exchange is Proof It Can Work
Coming from poe2 (never played poe1), I love the currency exchange— it works great, and I’ve never had to deal with bots to trade currency!!! Big ++++. If GGG can make currency trading smooth, why not expand it to gear?

A well-designed auction house wouldn't break the game—it would just remove unnecessary hassle and make trading feel rewarding instead of annoying.

this game is in beta public test phase
complaining about no AH is dumb.
dont you want them focusing on the 50% of the game not released yet?
when the core game is done you could prob expect additional things like this

but you dont know whats in act 4 5 6
maybe its locked to act 6 and not released yet.
a4 is supposidly heist/settlers town from poe1 league, adding in item recombination which is the core mechanic for crafting in poe1.

if your upset, maybe dont play a game thats 9 months from release thats 20% core mechanics are out and 50% of campain,

theres bigger issues to worry about besises, adding AH will just take time and right now they have a LARGE number of SSF players complaining. these people say no AH and will die on this hill even though they are in a game mode without it.

stop trying to make this game like diablo that failed horrible, rumor is that AH is going to be locked to a5 or a6 campaign, so you cant buy your way thru the story anyway. once this happens you will all be CRYING for trade site not limiting you based on your level

I didn’t use the trade site until I reached T4-T6 maps I think (same with the currency exchange), so no, most of us didn’t rely on trading early on. In fact, many players only start using trade when they run out of stash space and then realize its potential.

The real issue is that trading isn’t easy to learn. It’s not the biggest problem in the game, but it is a problem—one that makes the experience harder for newer players than it needs to be.

At the end of the day the game is designed around trade. If they insist on keeping this archaic ridiculous system that's a game breaker.

Make POE 2 great.

Same here. Only considered trading after hitting Maps. It is a dreadful system as many have stated before. An AH now would be great, but that is not realistic as there are many other priorities. But one on full release is essential for many current and past players. By the way my trading so far is nil as noboby seems to reply!

not complainig is dumb. this is exactly the time to implement and TEST AH/instant trade system!

no one wants to convert the game into diablo. get ur head out from where it is and breath.
