Auction House when?

They already have a AH/trade board system that works ok in Console Poe1..
IF they made it INSTANT BUYOUT It would of been perfect IMO.

you could still use the trade site for searches and whispers if you wanted.

now if they just implant this into PoE2 even for a test would be something.

There are many good AH systems in other games they can look to. Every single issue an AH has has been mitigated in one way or another by other teams.

The lack of an AH and the terrible death penalty(s) make this game a 'put down' after the campaign for me.

This system should have existed long ago. Scouring the website for just the right item for you build only for the person selling to either be perma-afk or never come online is infuriating. It would be great if we could post items we want to sell (just like at the currency exchange) and come back later to pick up our newly acquired currency. Hell, make it just like the currency exchange to where the more you're selling for, the more gold it costs to post it, just to prevent someone from buying every copy of a unique just to manipulate the market value of it. Running a live search only to never get answered is beyond frustrating, it took me 3 days to be able to snag my Howas, because every single pair that showed up, the guys never answered, probably because someone else sniped it only to corrupt and resell at a higher cost even when the corrupt bricked it.

Yup I'm not gunna sit there staring at my stash waiting for a trade. There's mobs to kill! Then there's the whole atlas map thing where you have limited portals to get back in only to get stiffed by some terrible trader who can't make up their mind.

Its 2025 GGG ditch this terrible trade system and do it good!

For what it’s worth everyone says “auction house” but I don’t actually want or need it to enable auctions; “trade house” would be more apt. Just the ability to facilitate purchasing items at the agreed upon price without having to do the whole whisper, invite, manually trade piece would help a lot of people in a lot of ways.

Friction = bad thing.
Ease of use = good thing.

Is ..is this new information to GGG?
