State of Early Access Update

still doubling down on bad gaming system, ignoring trading, crafting, bad game skill and a horrible endgame?
It would be great to have an “Instance Counter” where we could see how many times we ran a specific map or trial or so.

Also a real time clock would be nice and if we could see our latency etc directly onscreen all the time on console.

Some Maps like Savannah and a few others need some fixing on console cause they lag A LOT!

Also make it so that the step counter and the currency collector microtransaction items show right on screen if we want to display it instead of having to go into cosmetics all the time.

It would be good to have the PC HUD overlay on console.

Let us zoom out further on the Atlas.

Map stash that is even bigger than the current biggest premium stash tabs!
please spend less time outlining what you've fixed and more time outlining what you will fix in the future, also more transparency on timeframes and when new updates will drop, this weird tiptoeing around broken glass does no one favors
And hey, no one cares about towers. Stop pretending.
Unfortunately the game is a waste of time to play.
There is no player agency, no learning from anything that you spent 12-13years doing.
Massively out of touch with reality as is evident by the list of "Biggest issues".

This is just Diablo4 but worse, which is an amazing achievement on its own! You have dumbed your franchise down to something that is just a complete joke.

How has this iteration taken 6 years? Seems more like 2 or 3...

One life per map is still the main reason I stopped playing. It kills momentum entirely and I would rather log off.

Same. There is nothing more anti-fun or rage inducing than that. You can make players improve on their builds in other ways, that wouldnt feel like the kick in the balls.
This company is getting so out of touch with their community. They totally disregard all feedback and continue to push their horrible design choices like towers etc. This post is a self-hype post focusing on all what have been done while on the player side most QOL was just due to a rushed and unfinished game while the major flaws are not addressed. They delay PoE1 to focus on PoE2 but in the meantime are really slow with updates and made a terrible choice to cycle updates instead of grinding through it week by week.

Now after the total disappointment for PoE1 players they could have just re-run a PoE1 league making people happy till PoE2 0.20 but decided to still spend resources further delaying the PoE2 development. The fact people get such a big PoE1 league in terms of playtime with so many new ascendancys makes me worried that PoE2 0.20 isn't actually going to be released soon. Decide what you will focus on instead of doing half work on both games.
Something needs to be done about maps .. I have to do too many "yuck" maps getting from point A to point B. Make a map node be a biome, and let me select what map. Or let it be selectable on the waystone.
I hope you reconsider your balance decision. This game needs a lot of balancing, and the more we can do early on the better. There would be a lot more tolerance for it if we could have more heads up and more clarity as to how you are balancing: the nerfs we got were largely unannounced and seemingly random in target. If you are worried about breaking builds, maybe we could offset the harm somehow: give people some form of compensation (free respecs, special currency to "reforge" gear for a new build). There are lots of ways to make the balance process feel less like throwing hammers into a crowd.
I love the game and GGG, but this is a place for feedback so here is my feedback. It seems 0.2.0 is not going to have the draw you guys want based on what you said are the main problems. Map design is atrocious, and becoming a larger topic of discussion as more people get to the point of the game where you blast maps. As soon as i get to a speedy build; Queen of the forest Pathfinder, Tempest flurry stat stacker etc, (slow builds are also affected by this) progression is cucked by rocks trees pebbles walls and whatever else is just randomly laying about the map. Map design IMO need to be the highest priority and worked on until you guys can justify REMOVING checkpoints. If the maps play smooth without checkpoints then map design is in a fine state for now. Tower juicing fundamentally ruins the flow of endgame. Instead of blasting the maps that I want to run, i scour the atlas for an area with the most amount of easily accessible towers. Then i take the LEAST efficient and LEAST rewarding route to hit all the towers i can, purposefully using worse maps than i would want to run in order to save my super juiced maps. Then once i have quantity and whatever mechanic im running installed in all my towers, I FINALLY GET TO PLAY. I can see why you guys chose the tower system as a main endgame mechanic, it's a cool idea, but the way it's implemented right now just destroys the flow of the game. You guys said in your interview that crafting is on the slot machine side of things. This is correct but incredibly understated, however you mention the endgame progression being one of your focuses so hopefully this is addressed. Omens are a way to have more deterministic crafting but are INSANELY expensive in trade and almost impossible to come across in SSF. 3-5x the drop rate of omens and add ANOTHER source of deterministic crafting/editing of items. PLEASE drop splinters at the end of the breach like delirium, or like Twisted Domain... it's literally already in the game when you run Twisted Domain why the heck can't we get all the splinters dropped at the end of the breach, PLEASE do this for us man it is sooooo annoying running around picking up splinters. You could literally cut the drop rate in half to balance this correctly i don't care but please do this. There is obviously a ton more and i have faith in the dev team but the things you guys highlighted as your main focus for 0.2.0 don't seem to be the things that IMO the community is feedbacking the hardest about. Ofcourse we will see what you guys do :)
