PoE 1 Loading screen crash

When I log into PoE 1 and pick a character. It pops to the loading screen, then the game just stops responding and crashes. This happens about 3 to 4 times before it will let me into the game.

Not sure what data you need from me to track something like this.

I've tried a lot of stuff this morning to fix this issue. Uninstalled then redownloaded the game. Reinstalled my drivers, checked for updates for my computer, Admin mode for the game. Nothing worked for me.

I just get stuck on the loading screen. I can't even play the game at this point without spending 15 to 20 minutes trying to log in. Even when I'm logged in, the next loading screen can just kick me out again.

GGG or someone else could shed some light on how I might fix this would be great.

they must fix it not you, omg these people
Having the same issue. Tried reinstalling as well.
I even tried uninstalling it, and then reinstalling it on steam. Got it to work for about an hour, then bam can't get back in.

I have time off before my new contract, So I was looking forward to playing. I would play PoE 2 but my frustration on somethings hit a boiling point a few days ago. So it was time to take a breather from that.
So since I posted last I have tried a few things. Other posts suggested using PoE un-crasher. or manually disabling cores. I'm not tech savvy enough to be willing to try that with out hurting my computer. I tried the Un-crasher, however I'm unsure if it helps.

Takes about 10 tries to get into the game. when that happens, I've been able to get an hour and some change before a crash happens. However other times its 2 minutes waypoint to an area loading screen of death happens.

This is for GGG

I understand the new IP is taking a lot of resources, however you can't neglect an IP that everyone is falling back on because of issues with PoE2. I enjoy this game, been playing for a really long time. However the game is getting close to unplayable in my eyes. while I understand that you cant respond to every little thing, but little to no communication from you guys will hurt us, and in turn we stop playing. From what I can see in the poe1 bug reports the most recent GGG post was about an issue with Trade. This issue has been reported to be going on since early Dec. I hope you can shed some light on what is being done to fix this.

Like I said before I really like this game. Please help us understand what is going on.
Try GeForce now and see if it's still an issue this will atleast pinpoint it more specifically.

Hey all, I was having dozens of crashes per hour in PoE1 on Win 11 24H2.

Fixed.

I toggled the graphics Renderer from DX11 to DX12 in the Graphics Options menu. 0 crashes since.

Also, in Windows Graphics Settings, you can disable HDR which seems to help not just PoE1, but many games that are crashing due to 24H2. Search: 24H2 game crash for more info.
hey man, just wanted to let you know that this helped me. Thanks!
