Not at all, as mentioned this was a throw-away development idea from the past, we have no current plans to use it for anything outside of being a future private league modifier. You shouldn't lock possibilities out. Something amazing could come from all these "throw-away" ideas. By saying you don't intend to use them ever essentially means any new fan-favorites out of this will never be seen again. It might be semi-ruthless, if the 'challenge' is getting to lvl 80 to get all four armour set pieces... then getting to 80 might be more difficult than a normal playthrough. Glad to see how this is going to work. My only concern is the blocked slots being unlocked by doing the same things as favourite maps. I feel a lot of people that usually not do that stuff is going to be missing in some idols, while the tree just requires you to complete more maps. Sorry but It is clearly stated that they are not using this for POE2, so this "fun" event is quite useless from a end game perspective. Interesting Ascendancies, but I am not a fan of RNJesus. We are losing out control in end game. I like the sentence, "It is an old throw-away idea we didn't think would be good enough to replace the Atlas Tree."
