These types of events here in PoE2? Very bad... Event made only for some and they are the same ones who take everything in PoE1. As always, very good ideas. applause.

I don’t understand why they don’t introduce different prize tiers—for example, a unique reward for the top 1, another for everyone under 3 hours, another for under 4 hours, and so on. Plus, participant-exclusive rewards for everyone else. That way, engagement would likely be much higher.
There are people sitting at a table planning this event, yet no one realizes that 99.9% of the user base won’t care if there are no rewards for participating? That’s the whole point of every battle pass, for example. Why would anyone play through the campaign solo self-found for 6+ hours with realistically absolutely no rewards for it? At first, I was interested in joining, but after seeing the prize distribution, I don’t really see the point of participating at all. |

Lots of whiners in the comments... It's as if random person could come to the World Cup and complain that for some reason they can't win here. You can't just come and get the prize. You obviously need to win. The event is called a "Race" for a reason. I think that the "participation award" in such events is a сringe.

Why not make the barrier of entry easier for everyone to play in this race?
