If you meant on your PoE1 character IziNoSlacking, what are you testing against?

Against a hit dealing fire or cold damage, it looks like between the -max res and elemental damage reduction you'd be taking ~25% less elemental damage...but because of Divine Flesh, half of the damage would be taken as chaos, which you're taking 30% more of due to the lower max res.

yes you are right. I convert 50% to chaos from the divine flesh. which is around 87 max resistance (which will be 90 very soon) with eternal damnation.

the rest of the elemental damage should be reduced by almost 45% at 90% chaos resistance after the max resistance. According to my calculations with eternal damnation the damage reduction should equivalent to 90 fire and cold resistance. however, the testing part is a bit easier. to put it simply, I removed the amulet and put normal rare amulet. I was getting the same damage. That's why i was mentioning the amulet not working.. without the amulet it should be at least another 10 to 15% reduction or more.
