The new MTXs really sour the reveal for me. That's a sign of the kind of company that GGG has become today.

I do not know if new or already available in POE1... but they are explicitly mentioned as purchasable MTX for POE2
Meaning, among the highest priorities of GGG is making sure that there are things to be bought in the shop... Dunno but I don't have the feeling GGG treats POE2 as being in Early Access.
There are other worrying things too:
* 100 uniques / 100 gems -> bloated content for purchasing tabs?
* A mount? -> Does this mean that MTXs for mounts are on the way?
I do not know anything about GGG past... but as for today... it seems just another Blizzard / EA in regards of company policies/priorities.
GGG has promised that mtx purchased in POE1 will be available in POE2 so yes, one of their priorities is making that happen.
Things being bought in the shop is what has kept the lights on for over a decade.
POE1 (and eventually 2) may be labeled as "free to play" but that's misleading. It's free to try, but to actually play it in any meaningful way, you have to buy stash tabs.
