Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Hunt Launch - Live Updates 🔴
Its realy sad, how GGG ruined this update...
The game not hard just unfair. The early game is somewhat playeable but the bugged hitboxes the unfair inconsistency of dmg, and the the instakill spells from random normal mobs is just a joke. If you want a hard game that is fine, but its not hard, just unfair. At lvl 78 with near caped elemental res and 42% chaos res, 75% evasion high dps. And still zero fun in this update... -.-' Whant 0.1.x Thank you GGG for ruining the fun, but in the other side at least slowly but surely the game will be worse Than diablo4 . |

What is up with the London server? I'm disconnecting every 5-10 minutes, and have been for the last 24 or so hours?

Jesus, not sure if this was planned but I’m 97 -> 98 and I’m doing T16 maps with a boost to exp that are surrounded by towers and boosted by 60-80% exp increases by tablets and I’m getting like 1% per 3-5 maps. How in the world are you expecting folks to get higher? Throw in the nerfs and mob difficulty increases compounded by 10% loss of exp on death and y’all are off your damn rockers. Maybe take a look at endgame and revisit some of the BS you’ve heaped on us? Oh and nice making an exalt drop a reason to celebrate. Get your act together guys.

Hello!
I'd like to leave a comment in case someone actually reads this and vibes with it. That being said, I felt like today's interview was kinda useless due to the irrelevant questions. I do appreciate you guys interacting with the community like that, and I’m sending lots of love! But yeah, my view is pretty different and I think it’s worth sharing. PoE II is gonna be a great game, and I spend most of my time just looking at things I like and having fun. For example, the Rusty area in Act 1 is super beautiful and I love appreciating stuff like that. There are already a lot of fun builds, even though we’re kinda short on interactions and skills compared to PoE I. A lot of stuff is super well done. Like, when I think about spectres – how much time did it take to integrate them like that? I’m guessing it’s not the most satisfying focus right now, but over time I’m sure those frameworks will bloom and help create the best ARPG. Now to some stuff that I think is worth looking into: Whether it’s PoE I or II, I personally never really enjoyed leveling. Yeah, it’s chill sometimes and not exactly unfun, but I just wanna get it over with so I can get to the good stuff. That said, I actually enjoy some areas in PoE II a lot. I mostly like the first and second acts, and like you guys already said, with enough fine-tuning the leveling might become fun even for someone like me who usually doesn’t enjoy it. The reason I don’t enjoy leveling is because I tend to follow what others are doing and I wanna be with them in the exploring arc - but while leveling, you can’t really pull off any 5head mechanics. You just take Arc and hold right-click. To get into build theorycrafting and early testing, I feel like I have to rush through leveling instead of just chilling and enjoying things slowly. That might just be a personal thing – but if your intention is to make the early game hard with not many options (feels kinda roguelike), I actually get that and do like it. The thing is, once you get to maps, a T15 map doesn’t really feel any harder than a T1. I remember times in PoE I where I was stuck in T10 maps cause I kept dying. Here it’s all just a cakewalk with barely any real interaction, and I start wondering why I’m even playing when I can clear most of the content with zero investment. Only the upgraded pinnacle bosses or maybe Simulacrum are actually hard. tl;dr - If I play a relaxed campaign it takes me around 15-20h. Once I reach maps I find myself instantly in T15s without needing any real upgrades (damage-wise) to clear stuff. Then I’m like... playing for what? Nothing in maps really drops that excites me besides maybe a Mirror or Astramentis. Feels like I’m playing the game just to play the game, which isn’t bad, but I’d rather be challenged in T8 maps cause I need like triple the damage I needed in the campaign. In PoE 1 people focused on meme builds, explosions, speed, MF, content-related builds, and new undiscovered tech to shape their characters through the endgame. In PoE 2, the only real endgame in terms of difficulty is getting better gear to kill the pinnacle bosses, so you can get better gear... to kill harder versions of the pinnacle bosses. But the main content – maps – are just super easy no matter what you're playing. All in all, I think it’s weird. Nobody really cares if monsters are swarming you or not. Yeah sure, you want each monster to be unique and somewhat adaptable for the player, but the real reason people are feeling unsatisfied is the lack of tools to murder those swarms. We love explosions, flashy animations, chain reactions, big AoE, fast zooming around – stuff like that. Now, if we don’t get that during the campaign – totally fine. A harder game at first, a bit different, but also beautiful, and it gives me something to look forward to when I finally get closer to becoming the literal god every one of us wants to be in a game like this. But that doesn’t really happen here, does it? If a build throws lightning spears and full clears the screen, it’s been doing that since the campaign. And if a guy only right-clicks each mob, he can do that all the way to the endgame of the endgame – assuming he managed to beat the campaign with it. I think we need more out-of-hand scaling options for the super endgame, like we have with stuff like Temporalis. We need more systems that push your power level beyond what’s possible during the campaign – stuff that only becomes available after the campaign. And we need maps that actually require you to be way stronger than you were when finishing the story. Now yeah, all that will probably get added eventually. And I think most other complaints will either be fixed over time or are just people venting cause they can’t see the big picture yet. But my take is this – no matter how scuffed the road to full escalation is, as long as I can get there, I don’t mind it. I’m happy every time I notice a small change in that direction. The problem is, right now it feels like people are focusing so much on the small stuff along the way that we’re all kinda forgetting the big picture – the reason we all love PoE. Which is simply... blasting. And even if you completely hate the campaign and everything that isn’t blasting – people will still endure all of it, just to blast in the end. But I’m not talking about sitting on a big bird throwing spears and calling that blasting. It’s fun – but it’s not what we’re really here for. Thanks for taking the time to read all that. Didn't think it would escalate like it did. Hope this inspires someone. Cheers. Much love~ |

It's so funny that I don’t even feel like laughing. Since people here often write about what they didn’t like in the current patch, I’ll chime in too.
Honestly, it’s baffling — how can people who play SSF and might not even reach endgame mechanics be in charge of balancing the standard league? It’s beyond me. How could they make the endgame so unbalanced that instead of choosing from 10-15 builds like in 0.1.0, we're now stuck picking between 2 or 3 in 0.2.0? I hope this is exactly what GGG intended. 1. Monsters on maps too weak? No problem—let's just triple the slow penalty for players so mobs can easily catch up and kill them :) 2. Not ready for a flood of players? No big deal—players aren't people, right? They're totally fine losing a couple of hours while the servers get fixed. Totally unexpected, of course. 3. New game mechanic—rush through the map before your progress resets and you lose everything you've done! Thanks, GGG, brilliant move. 4. A buggy ritual that crashed the market? What does the best dev team in the world do? Naturally, they ban the streamer who talked about it for 12 hours but leave hundreds of chinese players who did the same thing and tanked the economy untouched :) The best gift GGG gave me in 0.2.0? Three maps in a row with mana-siphoning, speed-boosted monsters. One map had three of them in a pack. What's that? Oh right, RNG with a "random" selection of modifiers. Sure, yeah, totally RANDOM :) I get that this post won't change anything, but at least i've vented. Thanks for working so hard on the real-money item shop while completely ignoring balance and player convenience. After all, the priority is squeezing out extra cash from cosmetics—who cares about player comfort or feedback? Please, for 0.3.0, don'’t bother with a balance update. Just drop 500-1000 more useless legendary items and 2000-3000 cosmetics instead. That's clearly what the game needs right now — not balance :) |

When will the fps drop, shader loading on AMD video cards be fixed??!!!! How long can you tolerate this, your company doesn't have a single AMD card? Play and feel the pain!! I don't have the strength to tolerate all this, I'll come back when this is fixed (never) and yes, fire effects, is something being done about them or not? They cause a crazy fps drop!!!!
