Happened like 10 times and now I too cant log back in keep getting Unknown object type serialized by server Error!!!

Same issue. Been trying different system settings. Switching to Directx 11 allowed me to log back in. Got the error again when portaling to town from Grisweld. Now regardless of which direct x Version I get the error and cant get back on. Servier jumping does not help either.

***Side note found some old forums on Reddit about this same error message from years ago. Hope that helps devs get to solution faster.

this worked for me:
Launch game
Before logging in, change your renderer to DirectX12
Log in
Get out of clearfell town
Once in another area, switch back to Vulkan

I am not playing with DX12 because the FPS is very low, but Vulkan + clearfell town seems to be toxic.

same problem, happens at different places. tried different server but same issue

I have been having the same problem. It is occurring every time I try to enter town on my mercenary character.

Guys try to change the item filter, for me it worked dont get the crash anymore
