They play it all the time... if you listen to and/or read an interview involving the developers, then you would know they do.
There are many differences between 100 developers playing the game and 500 000 clients playing the game.
There are way more variables when the general public plays as opposed to the developers. The sheer amount of combinations the general public can test compared to the developers is a main reason as to why we are playing this BETA/Early Access game right now.

So you mean that 100 developers couldn't realize that this nerfs/cnahges are ruining the game. Even 1/100 couldn't ha ?
Why ? Are they playing with cheats or GOD MODE on etc. ?
Lets say none of them realized... At least they can listen to %75 of players. Even version 0.1 had lots of problems in terms of "FUN", now ver. 0.2 is just a waste of time. Why do people continue to play a game which they can't enjoy ?
Immediately they should revert the 9/10 changes imo. Otherwise in 2-3 weeks, maximum 20-25k players will be left.
