Unless you want your great new 'game' to become a white elephant and the laughing stock of the ARPG community...

Fix it.

Sure, you're still stumbling around trying to find some idea where the game wants to go, but you're turning away your most die hard fans. Even your SHILLS are turning and walking away.

The solution is pretty simple, just some database adjustments:

Monster speed: reduce by 30-50%.
Monster HP: reduce by 50% across the board.
Rarity: Increase by 100x or more. If players cannot advance because they're not getting anything to improve their builds they'll just... stop playing. And then go vent their frustration on streaming platforms.

OFC, if you're not looking at user response, keep going with what you're doing... and we players will just wave goodbye on our way out the door. People will look back on the game with tongue-in-cheek dark mirth just like Star Wars New Player Experience...

While the sentiment is there you are exagerating. NO the people that like the game are not leaving.. Sunday had more people playing than saturday that had more people playing then friday.

Speed of monsters yes need to be reduced but 30-50% is too much.. 50% they would barely move. 15-25% would be enough. Same with life of mobs... if you reduce too much you make high damage slow use skills useles.. so 50% is far too much. Some 10-15 % .

Rarity... no no no 100 times more drops would be horrible would remove all excitement of progression. There is no excitement when you know every 2 minutes you will upgrade your weapon. Some 20% more drop would already be HUGE.

Even when pretty much all sources...

Guy, come on. It's 2025; we really shouldn't need to be having the confirmation bias conversation at this point.

When you say "all sources" what you mean is "all sources whose opinions I'm seeing" which means either a) prominent streamers or b) players who actively post their opinions on forums or social media platforms.

Taken together, the sum total of these two groups is a tiny fraction of the total player population and despite their adamant insistence to the contrary their opinions do not speak for the rest of the player community.

Exactly that, those 2 camps are like 5% of the combined total player base.
But i fear that those are the paying 5%... those that actually matter at the end of the day.
The so called "casual" gamer that has none of it looking in to the drama is leaving once they had their satisfying worth their money experience, they might come back, or they don´t.

I can imagine it being tough for GGG to juggle between their vision and to satisfy the blaster type of playerbase that just want to obliterate the whole screen and see colored loot everywhere. But those blasters are the paying consumers, addicted to the clearing of screens without any meaningful interaction using exploits left right and center.
So yeah, idk where GGG want to go from here.
I´m as casual as it gets, i don´t really get the blasters and their "i don´t want any challenge" approach to the game, but to each their own.

For my sake i hope GGG is trying for as long as possible to make their vision work, if indeed it fails then they have to please the hardcore audience for sure. PoE1 V2 in that case but with much nicer graphics.
