Dawn of the Hunt - What We’re Working On

Still no changes to BOSSES? You don't even mention them and imho they are the main problem making the game super sluggish. That vastly overtuned HP pools does not add anything to the boss fights - it just makes them exhausting. A 5-10 min fight is good for mmorpg raids, optional endgame stuff or games that you finish once and leave behind. Not for a game that is supposed to be re-played every legue reset.

Not to mention how long it takes to retry a boss fight after a wipe. Waiting for the monologues/start animations for 1 minute, after wiping to a 5-10 min fight is just torture. Why after a wipe the boss can't just stand there ready to be pulled? This is just a rushed, untested, slog fest of a patch.

Your feedback is laughable. Add more checkpoints....LMAO

It does seem like Chris was the one keeping things in tact and with him gone, things aren't looking well.
Have you played the game that you released? Was it enjoyable to you? Where does this obsession from souls-likes comes from?
I'm sorry but your vision is cooked and if you go on that route, you're gonna step into the territory of D4 Bad.

Crashes and Disconnects
On launch day we had a severe and common client crash in town. The "Failed to deserialise object" crash. This crash was fixed on the first day, but there are still other client and server crashes that remain.

Currently the number of client crashes is actually a bit lower than in 0.1.1 due to working around the somewhat common nVidia driver crash, but the rate of server side crashes is approximately 6 times higher, which results in you getting suddenly disconnected.

Thankfully, server side crashes are significantly easier for us to debug, and we believe that we should be able to resolve most of these within the next few days.

Of course, we will continue to work on client crashes as well, but as the primary crash we had in 0.1.1 is now resolved, we believe that we should be able to fix the remainder of these fairly quickly.

Is this an out of season april fools joke?.
I hate the checkpoints so much. They are a band-aid fix to how terrible the zones are. They are also immersion-breaking. It makes no sense to have them in an ARPG.
So lazy, it's unbelievable. What the heck are they even doing? Losing more and more faith in GGG with each update. This is sad.
You could have just said we heard all your feedback but are ignoring it and got the same message across.
poe 3.26 when
it's so funny to read these random devs posts when it's was such a disaster. Are they faking like everything is under control or they have no idea how bad it is.
This is one of the saddest "what we're working on" posts GGG has ever put out, and I've seen a lot of this kind of post. There's no ridiculous nerd rage here either, just disappointment.

Sad that, on top of everything else, poe1 will likely die for this vision.

IMO it's already there. A lot of time playing this game feels like a waste of time. Look at the size of Temple of Sun map, no mobility, no loot. Just a big maze for nothing. I think I hate Drowned City/Utzaal the most. Checkpoints are cherry on top, horrible immersion-breaking addition, it should never be the case in ARPG to find so many dead ends - they clearly know about them because a lot of checkpoints are located in these exact spots.

It's even worse in maps when you get shit like Mire or Forge and for some reason they don't want to admit it's bad, it's not even that screen wide mechanics are bad on them, some archetypes don't even work, minions have a bad time with pathing on these narrow corridor maps for example.

I'm not even mad, just disappointed

Lol... It seems like the silent majority of the playerbase has finally had enough.

These are the players who didn’t quite agree with 'the vision' but were open-minded enough to give it a try. Now, they feel like they gave GGG a finger, and GGG took the whole hand.

One might wonder how I came to that conclusion... Honestly, I’m not sure. But the posts I’ve been seeing certainly don’t seem to be getting any better page after page.
