Cost with only Archmage
119 base skill cost
~118 added cost from 6.2% of 1908 max mana ~2.385x cost multiplier from Support gems (1.15 * 1.2 * 1.2 * 1.2 * 1.2) 237 * 2.385 = ~565
Cost with EB + Archmage
119 base skill cost
~189 added cost from 6.2% of 3047 mana ~2.385x cost multiplier from Support gems (1.15 * 1.2 * 1.2 * 1.2 * 1.2) 2x cost multiplier from EB 308 * 2.385 * 2 = ~1469 Seeing the added cost from Archmage applying to the skill cost before support gems multipliers are applied seems odd to me, but that could easily be an intentional design choice. |

Archmage is well and truly useless now. with 6k mana it makes costing every spell around 1.5k, while I can't my regen over 1k without losing MoM - the only thing that keeps me alive.
The entire build has been rendered utterly useless, and all the time spent tweaking and working for gear a massive waste of time. They could have at least left it so that my one T4 pinnacle ready character could survive the trash mobs in a T14 |
