What did I pay for?

Since my game is frozen, and I can't play anymore. I paid to have early access, but can't even play the game.
Was hoping the new update would have fixed these issues that I and others are having, but I guess not? Been this way since early January, so it doesn't look like this'll be fixed anytime soon. Will I have to wait till release and hope it's fixed by then? And if so, what did I pay for? Last bumped on Apr 13, 2025, 1:41:39 AM

You paid for MTX and/or coins for the shop. Early access is a bonus. Try the technical support forum if you're having tech issues.

What kind of potato are you playing on? There's a bunch of people whose games are working. Does GGG have to send their support squad to your house to fix your computer ?

" Ummm, have you seen how large the bug report forum is?? I guess maybe that's why I'm still waiting? I guess their support squad just hasn't gotten around to me yet? Working on everyone else's potatoes that reached out first. Just because you're (and others) not experiencing problems (and I'm glad you and others aren't) doesn't mean others aren't. If you were on here complaining that you paid for something but couldn't use it, I wouldn't get on here just to take a shot at you. It just sucks that I paid quite a bit to be able to play early but can't. It's like buying a car and loving it for the first month and then it breaks down and you can't drive it anymore, and no answers or nothing from the dealership. It sucks. |

Start a new character?... these issues happens in games and support is non-existant right now. What you paid for is early access, which comes with issues. You have one particular issue... It's like you bought a car, the tail light is out and you feel like you can't drive it anymore. Yes you can, play a different character. |

" Thanks for the reply, really appreciate it. And thanks for digging and seeing what my actual problem is. Ahhh, didn't know that early access doesn't have bug fixes and such. I know early access can come with issues, that's par for the course, but didn't know about the other. And yes, I can and probably will start a new character, it's still upsetting knowing I have to do so. Plus not knowing if I'll encounter the same issue another hundred hours in, since I've been trying to find answers (Reddit mostly) and several people have told me that it's a common issue in couch co-op (wife and I play together, and I don't know exactly how common to be fair), that when you reach a hundred hours the game gets stuck on a certain screen. I like the analogy though, although I'd say it's more than the tail light is out and can still drive, probably more like paying for a V8 and instead getting a V6. ;) |
