Changes to Act 3 Areas in Path of Exile 2

I can't imagine how new players feel when they play this game for the first time.
If I am getting my ass kicked this much, and I have around 3000 hours in the ecosystem, imagine what new players are going through. 🤷‍♀️


Also, character movement is so slow, while mobs are 1000 miles per hour
in both movement and attack speed.
Also, it's not the size of the areas, that people have a problem with.
But rather, it's how slow the character moves.
While mobs are 10x faster. (feels like).

If I wanted this much beat-down, I would instigate a fight with my local neighborhood gang.

I also experienced a few crashes,
that I can understand because we are still in beta.

Every time, I think about wanting to go into the game AND PLAY.
I contemplate about it now. And ask myself, do I want to be in a bad mood today?


That's how I feel every time I think about playing PoE2.

The thing is, I do want to play, I really do.
But that question and contemplation comes up in my mind every time.

Poison is chaos damage, there is chaos resistance.

I don't feel like this is nearly enough. The game was FUN to play before this patch. This game is a miserable slog and I get no materials to craft anything. It's unplayable IMO. It was one of my all time favorite games before Dawn of the Hunt...so this is sad for me.

Question: is it your intention to make the game feel like this or was this in error? I need to know if I should continue playing through these hard times until you get it dialed back in, or if I should be done with this game.

This person has a point. I've experience this myself.
If a character needs to stand still to attack, the wind up takes too long,
Many skills take way too long to use.
There is also no instant AoE to deal with 10, 20 or 30 mobs with chaos damage or projectile being thrown at you at the same time.

There is not enough skill gems to deal with this.
We have to deal with this with whatever skills are handed and available to us.
And most of those skills are only tied to certain weapons,
which that in on itself is stupid. And are slow AF to use.

We should be able to use ANY skills with ANY weapons.
(for the most part) excluding very specific ones.
But over all be able to.

First thanks for your efforts.

However, I think there are more pressing issues that need focus. A lack of rare drops / gearing makes the difficulty of combat more problematic in the first 3 acts.

As an experienced player, I've had to spend extra time over-leveling and grinding gear to +5 or more levels for the act end bosses which were more than just challenging.

It's one thing for the bosses to have a 1-shot kill skill, but for almost every attack to be 1shot killing it becomes a problem. It's too hard with the limited gearing to have both the resistances and other defenses needed for A1-A3.

I can't comment on A4+ since I haven't made it that far yet.

Watching the interview, wanted to add something here about currency and drops. I’ve ran probably 10 characters cuz I keep dying and one of my character in HC (first time playing HC, all other characters were SSFHC or died and played SSF). My drops right off the beach were insane. I had so much out of nowhere. Wanted to say maybe it’s a bug related to different realms (HC, SC, SSFHC, and SSF). Just something I noticed and didn’t know where to put this, thought maybe the info would help.

I just love the game situation rn, but PLEASE fix answered call. Been playing Warbringer since the last patch and its really unlogical to have an ascendancy skill bugged xd
