Zero consistency from GGG on what is and isn't ban worthy. This is an item interaction that should have been caught by anyone on their team, and would have been flagged by the community if the patch notes included the list of new items. It is insane to ban for this in a paid beta of the game, when we're essentially paying to test your game. But those duped temporalis items are alive and well.

Mmm i don't know, on one hand that 'exploit' was clearly game breaking so something had to be done.
One the other, it wasn't a crazy bug abuse, it was literally use the mechanic how it was intented to be. Not the players faults if GGG didn't added up the sources of rerolls cost reduction before implementating a way to infinitly reroll :S . So I'm really not sure if banning the players is the answer here. Delete their currency sure, but banning seems too harsh. It was not a crazy instance crash allowing unlimited currency retry on items, or duplicating the rarest item in the game by duplicating instances infinitly (did those get banned?), which both where clearly a bug. This is just a combo of tablets that was too powerful, no shenanigans, put tablet in the towers and play the game... |

$30 to beta test and GGG put something in the game and refused to show people which would have gotten noticed and fixed before release but they didn't because they wanted people to find powerful and fun interactions but oops we didn't mean THAT interaction despite the fact that they're the ones who put it in the game.
Amazin. |

the outcry of the exploiters is funny to read.
come on now, what were you thinking? you really thought you could get away with exploiting? you could've reported this by sending an email to support@grindinggear.com but instead you decided to abuse it to the point of filling your stashes with items. anyone with some common sense would know a mechanic that gives u unlimited items for free is not intended. YOU abused it, and you got punished for it, simple as that. I do not wish for exploiters to get perm banned no matter how much i hate exploiters. but a temp ban is well warranted. As for the russian streamer that streamed this exploit to over 10k people at a time, he deserves a full perma ban. |
