It doesnt matter that we have trade league, because the drops are only whites and blues and literally no currency. So nothing to trade. Hello, its an arpg?!? Is that the philosophy for GGG that we play an ARPG(!!!) without loot?! More then 99,99 percent are whites and blues. And currency…i dont know…maybe looking on Mars on tuesdays to find something useful(items, currency).

That would effect the 'economy' as the devs have said prior in interviews. They want the game to be oriented around the same style of auction house system that ruined diablo 3 and destroyed any credibility they had with the fans at the time. The trade system is priority instead of legitimate loot drops. If loot dropped properly, then the fake market would get saturated. Some of the devs are min max economics players rather than ARPG players. They prefer business tycoon over a functional arpg. Just listen to the interviews and it explains why it works this way. You are supposed to be starved items to force you into using currency in the trade system. Everything is oriented around the trade system so the loot drops will never make any sense

this is what scares me. And the worst part is that i don't understand it at all. I mean, it's not like this is a MMO where you want to establish a community and a player driven economy (which usually implies some form of crafting by the way). What does this fixation with trading bring to an action RPG? Why would anybody be happy with trading instead of crafting or having mob drop loot? I don't get it

+1

Exactly my thoughts. As long as this is not fixed I will not install POE2 again.

This 100%.
72 red maps
45 yellow maps
5 white maps

0 divines
10-15 alchs maybe?

I am also running basic currency on the atlas tree. I feel drop rates are extremely low or im just really unlucky/doing something wrong.

My character has 55% increased rarity.

Very discouraging to play, every map just feels like I battle my through caves/trenches with high chances of getting cornered only to finish it to get a map drop.

What is the difference between the current trade site vs an in game auction house?
The only thing I see is an auction house wouldn't require you to go out of the game nor would it require the seller to be online.
