Corrupted Nexus does not give atlas points

It still happening, died to boss once, go back and clean boss, cleansed areas but no atlas skill point, I was dissaspointed

Just run into the same issue. Cleansed a Nexus with a t15 waystone, defeated the boss (both, normal and corrupted), didn't die and got no extra atlas point!

This is unacceptable! Corrupted Nexus are very rare to find, it take ages to get there and then this! Very frustrating and disappointing!

Still happening, same issue: beat map boss, cleansed area, no instance/map/modifier reset; corruption boss did not spawn, quest did not complete, no atlas reward.

Hopefully this is a bug and not another RNG feature to slow the game down.

Sidebar: I think alot of the negativity around the game is coming from people who WANT to play the game and small frustrations like these are piling up faster than they can be addressed. PoE2 is already heady and challenging (which can be engaging and fun) but problems like this make that engagement feel like a daunting slog (not fun).

Same here. I dies to the boos once and killed him the second try but the corrupted boss never showed and I received no Book.

Died in corrupted nexus, and it disappeared, should it not spawn again in the area?

Also defeated multiple bosses in lvl 79+ corrupted nexuses and bosses, no book drops, no atlas points wtf.

Issue is still there as of 0.2.0f.

If you die to a boss at corrupted nexus at least once - you will not get Atlas points and quest progression, areas will be cleansed. Looks like a bug. All additional content on the map will be lost as well, even if you still have portals.

If node failed - you lose all content in it, including corrupted nexus, areas around not cleansed. Potentially, a bug, but may be work as intended.

It also happened that I died on the first attempt, and for the second they didn't give a reward and the zone wasn't cleared. But that was about 10 days ago. I hope it won't happen again, because finding the nexus takes too much time.
