[0.2] Stormweaver - spark - archmage builds

Try arc with crit. Use pinpoint critical support.

I did try so many things, but I manage to save my spark build I currently run T16 easy If I die is because, I do not pay attention.
I have:
Resistance:
Fire 95%
Lightning 123%
Cold 77%
Shiels 4345
Mana 4127
Spirit 280
Item drop chance 116%
For mana management I did remove all cast speed where I could and replace that with crit.
More cast speed=more mana needs it. Cast speed is death with current mana system. So avoid if you can.
By doing that my spark seat at 48k but the moment I crit DPS go to 90k
I use new Support gem on spark Pinpoint Critical, this way I have crit at 70% and I crit constantly.
Second ability I use for my main damage is Orb of Storms so I will always keep dropping them, with Orb of Storm I use gem Overabundance this let me to have two orbs at the same time, my orb seat at 55k dps once I crit it go over 90k DPS
With two orbs and spark I’m almost at 300k DPS plenty for boss fight and more then you need to clear maps.
Cast on crit is insane as I crit a lot so it will fire up every few sec
In here I have Lightning Conduit and Arc.
With this setup On breach boss + 2 when everything go off boss die in few seconds.
You can push this damage easy to 500k but I like to be alive so did spend some points on survival.
For survivability I use:
Convalescence, with this I can instantly recover my shield and this cannot be interrupted, very nice ability. My one is with 23 sec cool down.
Arctic Armours with Knockback and 40% knockback distance works very well If I make mistake and get sworn by mobs they just fly away and die.
Then on my archmage I have:
Cool Headed 50% less Ignite duration on you
Warm Blooded 50% less freeze duration on you
I would love to have Strong Hearted but don’t have enough spirit this one gives 50% less shock duration so I swap to this one if I know I will face lots of lightning.
For mana I use Mana Remnants now this works with crit so with my build mana remnants drops like crazy very good for clearing big packs of mobs as your mana will constantly seat at full.

I'm still working on this build but at list in mean time I can clear everything with this build.

I’ve been playing around with the builds and as mentioned if we drop archmage it makes it much more manageable. Getting cast on shock/crit as well as orb of storm with over abundance will work wonders for you as well as the artic armour with push back gems and mana remnants with magnetism. I run with voltaic mark as well. Doing this kind of brought my sorc storm weaver back to life. As mentioned extra cast speed is our enemy at the moment.

that's interesting, I didn't even think of dropping Archmage for CoC, and for now I just specced my sorc into LS to be a spear chucking wizard lol
