It's not "insta-kill". It casts whirpool around u and u have time (seconds and even get screen animation warning) to dodge roll and get out. Nobody should die to this as its easy to deal with.

All these people who posts cat rue are so annoying

I sure hope you guys can fix the Bloodthief Queen Tame Beast situation soon
The missing beast tag from it (probably disabled due to the following bugs, but unreported in patch notes)
The bug where infinite minions spawn when toggling the skill
The bug where it sometimes spawns enemies

This beast is why I created one of my characters

Finally wands and staves got some runic love. What about sceptres though? Allies in presence deal x damage, increased health, more spirit?
