Thank you Jonathon for at least trying.

The GIT GUD crowd launching their gaslight psy-op to make people believe there is a vast gameplay depth in this slog of a game . You wish lmao

I think that GGG have done well to put the effort into fixing issues that have arisen but I can’t help think that they brought it on themselves. I love PoE2 and hope it keeps a slower game style. I just hope they don’t rush out the next patch in order to bully the competition, as it’s certainly got a lot of gamers backs up! Hopefully this will humble GGG and realise that the smaller companies like Eleventh Hour Games (Last Epoch) have a firm following and they should respect them a lot more than they did by forcing them to move their release date! We don’t like bullies so let’s hope that they take note for next time! 🤗
majority of people play ARPG-s as comfort food .

as a power loot fantasy , to vent their frustration and have fun.

and you want the game to be more stressful , you and jonathan .

Go play souls games or hardcore survival games . that is what you are looking for anyway .

there will always be backlash and pushback all the way until the game is a pure power fantasy , and every time they say no and they dont agree ,

game will get more and more negative reviews .
if they want to keep it up , they gonna be left in poe2 with a few thousand souls players and nothing else (until the next hot souls comes around)

then its GG for PoE2.

GGG : dont let them ruin the future of the game , give us what majority is asking for .

It hi k that the future of the game is good and I don’t think what you call “Souls like” is a stressful gaming experience. I find I’m able to relax a lot more playing a game that’s engaging and has a challenge. Walking simulator 2025 isn’t needed as you have that in so many other ARPGs and they all feel the same, so why create another? PoE2 is a breath of fresh air imho. Sure it has its issues but I don’t think any of them is because of slower combat. I would be adverse to making it even slow, just need a bit more exp for kills though as the levelling progress feels like it takes ages to level atm.

I think No Rest for the Wicked is a great example. The game had huge hype of being this Dark Souls ARPG, but it completely tanked and nobody said shit about that garbage after the day of release. Very few people want to play the slog game. Dark Souls enjoyers that think they are so good at hard games (that aren't actually hard) are the majority of people who play games. They want the next hot new game to cut out the ultra casuals that find Dark Souls hard so they can maintain their superiority complex.

To Jonathan and GGG, don't listen to naysayers, let PoE 2 be the best it can be, don't listen to PoE 1 3.x addicts, lay the foundation for the 10+ years to come

Remember 0.1 reception, it's the only one that matter for 1.0

+1 Johnathan and Mark, Stay the course. However as you watch from the super secret underground bunker. You could push the "you win" button 0.05% more. That would make a big difference across the life of a character's thousands of rolls a day.

Over the last two years, I have watched Diablo 4 and other games be utterly ruined by Streamers and others who complain about any kind of challenge. I never played PoE1, because streamers said it was a slog fest, and Diablo 4 was a better, fresher game. I tried Diablo, and well.. it was fun for a bit.. then the nerfs came... and came... and came... it because nerf bukake. You can now expect about 20 hours of content per season in a game like Diablo4.

PoE2 comes a long and it seems like they wanted it to be challenging. The look in Jonathans and Marks eyes when they talk about the game... the sound of D4 ruiners tears pouring down their faces as they die over and over because they can't 1 shot everything... I was in heaven.

I played the entire EA from launch, made 40-50 chars in HC and HCSSF..and just loved it. When 0.2.0 hit it was excited.. the game felt even better.

I am now watching history repeat itself... The same mindset that ruins most games.. D4 etc is now ruining this one. Jonathon seemed like he would stand his ground... and his vision would win. However, like Blizzard.. it seems money and bottom line are more important than making a great game.

We are literally watching every aspect of the game being made easier.. over and over... everyday some stupid streamer cries or makes a youtube video about how bad they are, and the next day... it gets changed. The streamers are laughing that they got their way, and won. A certain bad player who streams and recently brought up a lot of concerns in an interview got EVERY thing he asked for in less than 24 hours... Even changing certain mobs in act 1 that have never even been noticed by anyone.

The cherry on top was cutting all of the areas in act 3 in half pretty much. Then... allowing Ascendency respecs... What happened to decisions meaning something? Giving things value... feeling like you earned something, and made you think abnout things without any consequences.

Seems those days are gone. I really hope GGG makes millions and millions of dollars off this game that used to be something special, and now is following in the footsteps of D4.

GG guys...

No rest for the wicked update coming soon.

You are looking at it wrong, each season of Poe2 has been a different difficulty scale for different reasons

Don’t base your opinion on .4

.4 is basically a gift to us. The seasonal mechanic fulfills every faucet of game grind.

It gives you exp, gold, raw currency, seasonal power boost, and high value items… all at the highest tier they’ve ever been obtainable in terms of how much time you need to invest.

.4 is the best conditions to be a Poe2 player. Because most seasons don’t have all those aspects wrapped up into a single mechanic… let alone one you have some degree of control over…

Complaining because .4 is too easy a season is foolish because this is the season before the end game update season…. Of course it’s gonna seem easy… the end game update isn’t here yet and they are putting in items that are tuned for it….

In short complaining is just foolish… this season will be remembered as the best season of the entire early access.

Thank you for real Jonathan.
