ZIZARAN INTERVIEW - ZIZ your claims are FALSE. (evidence inside)

Oh no who would have guessed that a streamer profession lies about something so changes could speed up his profits if the content would be more adicting or faster, damn. Wonder when some of them leaks that most of them bot and rmt while at it.

I'm quite convinced that Ziz have no struggle and did this for attracting casuals. Like c'mon he has countless hours in PoE 1 so he can be that bad in 2. Now he is praised like a savior and someone who is able to force GGG to make changes. Sad.

This is an excellent point worthy of consideration. I don’t have anything personal against Zizaran — in fact, I respect what he’s done for the PoE community over the years. But let’s not kid ourselves: he’s running a brand. His content, reactions, and hot takes are often monetized, and that means there's an incentive to stir up strong emotions or align with popular sentiment. That doesn’t automatically invalidate his feedback, but it does mean his perspective is filtered through a lens of what will resonate with his audience and keep engagement high.

So when he makes bold claims about gear progression or RNG being broken, it’s worth questioning whether that’s coming from a place of raw gameplay analysis — or whether it's also shaped by what will generate clicks, views, and reactions.

The problem isn’t Ziz sharing his experience. The problem is when one person’s narrative, amplified through a massive platform, starts being treated like universal truth — especially when a lot of it can be traced back to not playing optimally or mismanaging resources. That’s not an RNG issue. That’s a gameplay decision issue.

Ziz even made a video called "they changed everything I asked for" or something like that. Which may be a true but also sends a clear message.

On another topic - I think that streaming (and streamers) are the worst thing ever happened to video gaming. It simply ruins everything.

Vastly disappointed in the level of emphasis streamers are being given by GGG.
Less publicity the streamers, more with the devs please.

From GGG's perspective, it makes a lot of sense to lean into the support of streamers. They are an extremely cost-efficient way of marketing for their stuff (games/leagues) AND can be used to "funnel" feedback from the community through these streamers as "the voice of the community".
BUT from a consumer point of view - I don't like the heavy leaning into the streamer stuff too, for many reasons.

I mean, that's why I probably only watch a handful of streamers anyway, and mostly not live, only VODs. Most of the HC streamers have "elitism syndrome" while not actually playing HC, thus something I avoid anyway.

The only two in the PoE veteran community I can think of that I have 0 issues with and like watching are Lily and Pohx, but that's basically it.

I agree with this post as well. The streamers playing like a poe1 zoomer and complaining that when they hit the end game in 7 hours they don't have any gear... Uhhh. Actually play the story mode.. Check the vendors each level up. Etc.
