GGG did it to itself imo. They fixed a lot of issues in campaign but mapping atm is pretty bad. At least on most builds unless you are the lucky one.

Also loot is like 10x worse than in 0.1. I almost cant sustain waystones in endgame mapping, have almost no currency drops to do anything. Depending on item its 10-100x less drop.

Grim dawn is so overhyped its crazy. It also have atrocious visuals for modern standards.

While LE changed a lot. They upgraded their visuals to modern standards (and still keep upgrading and their solutions to arpg issues are best on the market.

They also have best build variety around.

One thing they where missing was proper endgame and now they have it.

Also whenever I look at LE crafting and compare it to PoE 2 it makes me cry. They have by FAR best crafting system.

In poe 2 it feels like they do everything to prevent us from crafting.

Same with loot drop esp in 0.2. Items are almost non existent. And its worse for some classes over others. Like for minions only way to upgrade is to buy from trade because you cant craft anything even if you want to due to how its designed. It was not the case in poe 1

LOL, these were entertaining posts, but come on, man, I think you’ve been watching too many conspiracy theory movies. Zizaran is just trying to do what he thinks is best for the game. Even if I think what he thinks is good for the game, is not good for the game. Get that? Hahaha!

As a quick sidenote and not to hijack thread but is LE still SUPER DUPER easy untill WAY WAY WAY into late game or have they looked at all the feedback and done some changes besides thrown in some boots? Such a cool game but literally zero difficulty until the last 5% of game.

LE was a lame duck? you mean... when they were developing and patching and making the game? The game was always in active development, but a small studio has a harder time dealing with yaknow that whole THING that happened from 2019-22...
They're not the messiah they just made a considerably better game.

Best crafting system? Compared to PoE1 - no, not even close, but compared to PoE2 - yes, actually.
