Starting to get major concerned

Love the game, love to repeat the campaign and explore builds and explore the progression of each build.

Love that the loot is so scarce, but enough to get you going. It makes every divine or big drop special.

Love the difficulty that actually force you to stop and think about what you are doing.

Just like OG D2, i dont mind and i love spending weeks to grind the content just to push my build a little further.

People want another 2010 like generic loot fest rpg like LE or POE or D3 or D4. Nobody remembers the good old rpg.

I love poe2.

Oh wow, repeating the campaign over and over? Living the dream, man. And yeah, hardly getting any loot is the best. Makes that one decent drop every blue moon feel super "special," instead of, you know, just part of progressing.
Totally agree on the difficulty forcing you to "think." Mostly thinking about how much XP I just lost again and why I'm basically grinding backwards. Love spending weeks pushing a build "a little further" – sounds thrilling compared to actually getting somewhere.
You're so right, who wants loot explosions or smooth progression like those other games? Give me the D2 slog any day, where spending hours for basically nothing is the real reward. Glad someone appreciates the "good old days" of banging your head against a wall. You keep enjoying that authentic "nothing in return" experience! We wouldn't want you having too much fun.

couldn't have said it better

Also certainly not the majority in this case.
By what metric?
How little do you people play? Or how much?
Im in t4 maps lvl 74 atm first char. SSF and i got okay gear i would say for my level. Ive done quite a bit of maps, got 2 divs and i also got a lvl 20 uncut gem from those gamba boxes. Got two 5 links with vaals. My dmg and survival is way good for t4s and i clear them easy af.

I really dont know what really is boring, hard, wrong with the game? If you want more loot then play more, clearly many of you just want to finish the leauge as fast as possible and move on to another game while you wait for the next update. If the game is not fun then dont play it because many of us are having fun.
Are you even in endgame? on T15 maps? trying pinnacle bosses?

If you're still in Campaign then enjoy the Tutorial then. It's not the whole game

Gameplay loop is fun....feeling like a rat pulling a lever for a food pellet that does not fall out is not fun. Look up Skinner Box. Bells will go off...

Scientists train a rat to pull a lever to get a reward then nerf the reward as GGG did and the rat develops OCD to pull the lever more and more for little to no reward.

GGG is doing this to everyone. They want you OCD and addicted.

Training:
Rats are initially trained to associate a lever press with the delivery of a food reward, often signaled by a light and tone.
This establishes a strong association between the lever press and the reward.
2. Signal Attenuation:
The signal (light and tone) is then gradually faded or extinguished, meaning the rats continue to press the lever, but the reward is no longer consistently delivered.
This process of weakening the association between the signal and the reward is crucial for inducing the "compulsive" behavior.
3. Resulting Behavior:
After signal attenuation, rats often exhibit excessive lever pressing, even in the absence of the reward.
They may continue to press the lever repeatedly, sometimes without even attempting to collect the food reward.

We are the suckers pulling the lever.

There are people who are having fun in gameplay, not just a reward. Your example is way off.
You're in T4 maps lol that not even true end game try T15+ fully juiced map then come tell us your experience. You will die in first few secs. Go try your first citadel and and then work to beating Arbiter of Ash. When can then you will be in the end game until then you are not even experiencing the true end game. But I think people who say they love the game with no loot and doing campaign over and over again are just trolls.
As someone who's played all the fromsoft games since AC 2, monster hunter since 1, raided in WoW TBC and WotLK, and ff14 extreme trials/savage raiding...this just isn't it. Last season I got 2 characters into the 80's and multiple others into the 40s/50s, this season I just hit maps with my grenadier merc and it's already getting to be too much, some of it was the rough start of the patch. Really struggling so early on was rough, and I bounced between a few characters before the adjustments came so that certainly doesn't help.

I'm res capped so generally nothing kills me outside of a few ground effects/on death effects I can't see because lolcluster grenades and there's a very specific melee mob that has killed me several times; they look like medium sized vaal 2h mace guys...they always seem to come in packs of like 4 or 5 and run up on my nuts because grenades have a detonation timer now. The problem is their melee swings have a conal aoe and with a pack of 3-5 it becomes a serious problem when their cones overlap. You can't dodge roll away from them because the cone is decently long and you get clippity clapped but you can't dodge to the sides because there's 3 cones. This isn't a challenge it's a frustration because it seems to become "did you kill everything in eyesight immediately? no? prepare to get clapped."

The game is just frustrating from the ground up from start to finish. Even just trying to build a character is rough, so many conditionals so many detriments. I don't enjoy the design philosophy of "well, we gave them something so we have to take something from them."
