I think you're right. A lot of changes aren't improvements, they're just "different", like exactly one lead developer is afraid of being compared to the highly successful game this is a sequel to and is insisting on changing everything. Probably the same guy that insisted on jamming Ruthless into PoE1 that absolutely everyone hates, nobody plays, and was a clear indicator that his personal vision is bad.

We need Chris back. We need someone that understands the three pillars of gaming are
Make it fun
Make it rewarding
Make it engaging

PoE2 right now? Not fun, not rewarding, and not engaging. Slogging through huge empty maps punching things with way too much health hoping a single item will drop is not fun.

From what I understand, 0.2 was a huge nerf so that we wouldn't be able to kill mobs off-screen.

Now they're nerfing mobs so that they can't kill us off-screen.

The result could be their vision, a slower, perhaps tactical game.

Edit: The question would be: is it possible to extract fun from something rigid and non-dynamic (slog)?

Would be cool if we can get atlas runers like in poe1 to help us explore atlas and get to the maps we want to farm. It could also help with boring time of searching Nexus.
As a Chinese, I am very curious. Amazon is full of servers. Don't you think there is a problem? Don't you look at population loss? We spend money to buy qualification tests, but in the end, only one or two BD professions can be played. What do you want? Now that Amazon's market share is about to exceed 50%, you don't want to adjust the balance, but instead keep pushing activities... Is it for making money? I believe this is not your original intention. If not, why not change? I'm so disappointed that S1 didn't participate last season, and this season has been extremely disappointing for over 10 days. I hope to do more career optimization, unless you feel it doesn't matter
i dont like the way this is going.why would you dumb the game down and make it easy??makes no sense!fix your server lag,give us some kind of pvp,do something about instant deaths without being hit at ALL!Work on optimazing the game where it matters.do something to lower the reqs for graphics.I have a pretty decent pc with good IP and there hasnt been a singl a day that i dont have to re lunch the client to fix lags and bullshit.Do something about up and down scaling,when you enter the map with ignited area patches you cant see shit,whole screen is blurry you cant see what is doing dmg to you.you say 6 players co-op but only with 3 players in group it becomes almost unplayable and there is no fukin way you can see anything from all those efects!Lot drop should be you last concerne and in my opinion i would like to see those drop rate from decline!!i was oneshoting pinaccle boos and every oother "hard" boss without 3 pieces of equipment in less than 2 months!this was supose to be gear grinding,not gear gifting!!!And ffs make that stupid trial of chaos similar to the sekemah...i reallllllyyyy dont se the point in finishing the one trial and then i have to run longer than it took me to complete the previous trial to get to next one without ANY meaning at ALL.WASTING TIME FOR NOTHING just to get to boss fight and get dced or oneshoted by some holy invisible spirit!I am more than willing to provide you with recordings if you think im makeing stuff up!one more useless thing in this game is that boring expeditoins and altars I highly doubt that ANYONE is having fun playing that.Campaing was fucking awsome and i have way more fun leveling up characters than runing around enormus end game map(fuking zoom out that stupid map,change UI make it look like a globe or something)and in passive skill tree in the"search" tab is anything but search,is it so hard to make it that when i press enter after typing in certan passive,that UI directly leads me to that nod?!?!And last but not least let MY MAN Lachlann have his revenge against those bastard eternals!peace
It's called Tuning. And this won't be the last time it happens.

Also, if they make everything overly hard now, how do you think that will affect future content? The power creep needs to be small to really maintain a viable game. If the bosses are over tuned now, then they have to bring spells/weapons up to that. And if the gap between content difficulty and player power becomes to high, then power creep starts jumping way to high.


This game is quite a bit away from full launch (Easliy 5-8 months)So just chill out, play the game, and see how everything pans out.
