I have almost 1400 hours in PoE2 , doing double/tripple tower overlap , t15/t16 farm , 190% rarity , most maps are breach + ritual + delirium + expedition. If not 4in1 then its 3in1 in 99% cases . I've had raw 14 divines drop.

My story is different , ive only found 1 raw div , im lvl 61 . ive cleared my first map just yesterday. I have made over 150 divine in using exalts to purchase magic or rare bases with high teir mod and another exalt to get another. recombinator is frustrating so i have been opting to choose mods with teirs that will hold value but not be make or break example t8 atk on ring /w 8% all res. than i exalt even before i ever hit a map i saw 100+ div. there are more tricks to use to reletivly reroll fully exalted items wihtout anuling them , and it is a trick not a bug hack or glitch its just using the mind

You both ofc have every right to like POE1 but people like us aren't wrong and btw I did play POE1, from a much older account from near the date when it first launched.

He's out of order about Hello Kitty, the immersion element is great from POE1 but many people couldn't attach themselves to old school gameplay elements and indie games that wipe the screen like Vampire Survivor's saw way more traction.

Its a fools course to continue to say that POE1 has way more going for it and should be the core direction going forward, its just nothing but addiction talking and I know all about that and I was overly fond of old school Lineage II and continuing to play the many updates not ever hard saying to myself the gameplay sucks and I was simply attached to my character and for nostalgia's sake. Also when League of Legends had the UI change from Season 4 or so onward, I was crying like a school girl about them changing what already worked but things eventually change for the better (...just the UI, the bizarre champions and modes that they did later eww).

Maybe a better outlook will come to you both in time.

Got 2 chars in SSF. lvl 91 Lich and 93,5 Smith...
No flipping, ex to div to gear, just pure playing with RNG, time, and game knowledge.
Those who fail even in trade league could get help by using maxroll and all the other sites.. Just invest 15min in reading some stuff and get gud instead of random playing days and weeks and get poor drops.

Poe was always more complex than Diablo games, Poe 2 as well..
