GGG not a big company afaik. It's not like Visa or a similar big banking company.

They have almost 200 empoloyees, which seems like a fair bit.. But compared to a giant global company like visa is crazy they have like 6000 employees, Blizzard has 13,000 employees.

But why roll back. And leave the servers unavailable. It just means they will fix the issue that occured on the first try and they will rerelease patch 0.2.0g in probably 24 hours from the first attempt. So basicly same time as today but 24 hours later.. and keep in mind. Servers run on incredible amounts of data just like with your windows updates updating goes fast and in seconds and max minutes but restoring your system to an earlier made restore point or backup can take hours depending on the amount of data needing to be replaced.. also u want to do this carefully and patiently because it could corrupt data if it is being rushed.

Im getting a message saying that I was "disconnected from patching server before patching completed"

so do i have to re-install the game??

It means the update server is down afaik

Might not be a bad idea, or you could just wait until they bring the servers back up.

Doesn't seem to help. On my system it just reinstalls the launcher which gives that error.

The lack of response or rollback result suggest that you are having issues with rolling back, but if that is the case at least be transparent so users know not to waste their time waiting for something that has no ETA.

There has, and will never be, a PTR. That's what leagues and early access are for.

Perhaps you missed the part under Player Changes where numerous skill adjustments were documented. Like: "Most Skills that have no mana cost which you don't cast yourself are now also granted a hidden no skill cost stat..." Rushing something like that could very easily have adverse effects. A single line that misstypecasts (no_skill_cost is made an integer instead of boolean) or adjusts the wrong variable (no_skill_cost inherited by all skills, including those from gems) could make things disappear. Disappearing skill gems is not a new problem and new patches can wake up old bugs.

well changing that stat aint gonna make item "illegal" like its a same item but have little bit more of code.

Aaaand ofc GGG must kill another non-meta build with killing Beira's Anguish and my build that i finally was enjoying PoE2. Time to delete the game, it's no longer fun at any degree playing the 3 meta builds or nothing else.

GGG didnt kill builds in poe1 mid-league ever, i dont want any of this vision and wasting my time.
