Shako vs 1000 uniqes

i prefer farming meph for 10000 times for little bit better shako. its more exiting to play current poe 2 pointless endgame. i killed everything at poe 2 and i look screen and say ' now what?'

you cant find that balance. you are not d2.

having milion of uniqes means nothing. build variaty is trash. yet, we are still treding thorugh web site. as i told you. u are not d2 or even close to it.

LoD. You mean LoD. The game where any bot can level you to 99 in HC and you can cheese any boss in hell because you don't need any loot at all to master the content. D2 is a completely different game with xp loss punishment that cost you weeks of playtime on level 96+. You are welcome.

Edit: D2 also has no chaseuniques besides Stone of Jordan and was relying on rare items. PoE2 is as close to D2 vanilla experience as it can get. And that is their communicated goal. Not saying you have to like it.

you are right sir, but still i cant find the taste at all, and iam quite casual and who plays allways single
I even get it. The truth is, when people talk about D2, they think of LoD. The vast majority of people prefer it instead of vanilla.

But on the other hand you have to consider that a minority of people got alienated from D2 with the expansion release. And some even decided to make their own game as a tribute to the old experience. I think they are trying to manage success with their idea and want to keep as many things as possible from all that annoying things new player mention frequently. Propably will be a LoD-alike one day when all the founders give up on community pressure. I hope they will not, but I guess from financial perspective they would do better.

Maybe not uniques but runes, like Jah, Ber, +Skills gems, 7% mf SC etc.
You forgot about Mara Kaleidoscope, War Travelers, Treks, Chancies, Vipermagi, Magefist, Arachnid and some other fun items. Yes fun items, not hot trash with drawbacks.

As to POE2, there is absolutely nothing desirable to farm for end game. Sweet nothing.

Almost everything that you mentioned is Lord of Destruction and not classic D2. No charms, no runes, no strong uniques, no relevant sets. There were common uniques that were also used, like that faster casting shard, but I mean you didn't get adrenaline from that because it was not rare at all. Finding a Stone of Jordan was the same feeling as finding a t0 unique in PoE2 (those things that are worth hundreds of divines).
I am just saying I see a lot of parallels and see where they come from.
Game feels like dry-humping a cactus — stuff goes down, but nobody's high-fiving. If you know what i mean...
Trying to model PoE after Diablo 2 is likely one of their mistakes.

Diablo 2 wasn't that good when it came to game design. In fact they royally screwed it up with the synergy patch later in LoD. That's the patch that turned every build into one main skill.

Before that patch you had extras skill points so you'd diversity your character like Frozen Orb + Chain Lightning rotating which was much more like Diablo 1. Making yourself able to deal with any problem instead of just running past immune packs.

I actually played very little D2 after that. Esp when they added respec.

If that's the case like you say, it genuinely feels like a bait and switch because they are undoing anything and everything I have enjoyed from POE 2 so far. I absolutely loved it because it was following the D2 line with + Skill being the main DPS scaling and having great unique items.

+Skill scaling got nerfed through the ground and the uniques are now all charsi food.
