The optimal way to build characters in standard is to use the ~25k res armor

I wanted to see how other people feel about this chest being in the game.

I am not really asking for a fix or anything..(GGG had been pretty clear that they are not touching it for a long time now) ( https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Standard/oJmJE4Ghl )

My real question is do others like that it's in standard?

Imho, so many builds I want to make just feel worse, as if I slap the bugged chest on the build it would solve so many things instantly.

In addition it makes it feel bad to make alot of builds in standard that are not armor stacking to some extent.

I personally am split hate that it makes the state space for builds so warped, but at the same time it's so fun to play with.

Isn't this what separates league players from standard players?

League players want a leveled playing field where OP shit gets somewhat balanced, while standard players like their OP shit and "permanency"?

But of course, when one item is 25k times stronger than the next best item, it funnels build freedom at the high end into one item.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
Nulled.

crazy how an item that's only good for one build somehow became "optimal"

As someone who plays standard from time to time, I genuinely couldn’t care less tbh.

Still couldn’t care less, but curious to see the cope.

If your build only works with one bugged chest, that’s a you problem.
There are plenty of other builds that perform insanely, beyond crazy, on a mirror-tier budget without ever touching that armor. Some are even more broken.
There are also way more powerful legacy items in standard that make this bugged chest and its performance look like a joke lol.
Windows 11, 9950X3D, RTX 4090, 96GB DDR5, 14,100 MB/s SSD, 15,360x2160p @240Hz Ultra 4K Gaming & Workspace Powerhouse
Plenty of builds in standard that trivialize the game by a fraction of the cost.

It feels like the chest is just a catalyst for noobs to complain about while not understanding the true scope of what standard has become over the years.

Is it bugged? Sure. Is it the "only" bugged item? Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not.
Just dont play standard.
It's only 2div. Why not buy it?

Imagine the lack of introspection that would be required to spend your spare time telling people they’ve posted in the wrong section of some company's forum, only to then try accusing someone else of brown-nosing.

I know. It was sarcasm. And a week attempt to change the conversation to why we need an AH.

One can always copy a top-tier build from Settlers league and then pivot into Standard with it. You will do anything a broken armor stacker chest build can do while never needing legacy items. So I don't really care that it exists. Any complaint is on GGG and their inconsistencies with treating bugged items and why some uniques get retroactively nerfed while others do not.
