Can't login from MacOS standalone client (LogIn Error: There has been a patch you need to update to)

you can try download the installer and replace the app (if don't work try to launch the app from application support)

but actually I can launch the game but it's still blocked at login (it has been fixed by the hotfix but comes again with the 3.26.0b...)
After following the steps to get around the security issue (move to bin) I'm also getting the "need to update" error. While installing the launcher showed 3.26.0b
reopening the launcher shows it connecting and checking for updates but not finding anything.
Maybe I am wrong, but even when i get rid of the previous poe in application support and redownload with the steps, it still says date modified is yesterday when it should be now b/c i redownloaded it. Perhaps need to completely remove poe from your system or something, I am not sure and might be just stuck on the previous version, or I'm completely wrong. No solution is working anymore.
Here is my solution to those with mac issue like (can not connect to server message issue, update message issue, etc.)

I am on mac m1.

This is officially from GGG. I recommend using kegworks. READ CAREFULLY and take it slow if it is your first time doing it.

Make sure you are downloading the WINDOWS version of POE on the OFFICIAL WEBSITE, NOT THE MAC VERSION when using this method.

From my experience, This has worked and runs so much better than on steam or the poe mac clinet.

If any issues occur for whatever reason, like it stops working. Just delete the wrapper and restart from step 3.

There is a section on how to update it. Usually there is a .tmp file you rename to .exe and rename the old pathofexile.exe files to something else like pathofexile.old. But recently found that it automatically updates it for you, not sure it this will stay the same or will go back to updating with .tmp file.

This is a seperate instance from ssomething like steam or mac clinet. So you will need space ~50-60GB, however much it is of free space.

Hope this helps.
shouldn't need any workaround it should work!

I did follow the guide. At the step 14, I found the blank file of the "production_Config.ini" which was actually fixed by open the wrapper I created first -- sure, app crashed but somehow the "production_Config.ini" was not blank and ready to change the device_type as guide said.

Finally, it works. Thank you very much.
