Ravaged Blight maps cause UI flickering and glitching.
Just had this in a blight ravaged map, first time I ever noticed it. Intel 12900k, Sapphire 7900xtx, 64gb ram on 2 SSDs (one for OS, one for games). CPU and GPU are water cooled so not an overheating issue that I can see. Definitely only started in 3.26.
Will try turning off dynamic resolution and see if that helps, but wow is the game hard to play when it's going on. |

Same issue, all juiced blight content will eventually start to glitch the entire UI and textures.
Blight is basically unplayable if you can't one shot every single mob, bosses included. R5 7600x RTX 4070 32gb ddr5 ram |

Thought I might post something that helped me hotfix the problem, at least temporarily(and at great cost).
Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super Windows 10 OS 16GB RAM After struggling with freezes/gear logo reconnects all league long, and now unplayable blight (my favorite mechanic), I have gone to extreme lengths to try and figure out a solution. The first thing I found that helped was changing to dx11 instead of the default dx12 or vulcan. This fixed the UI flickering bug for me completely, but I was still getting the worst performance I've ever experienced in blight encounters, sometimes to the point of total game freezes/crashes. So, I took the extreme measure of disabling my game sounds through the game's config files, a long-known solution to help improve the game's performance. You can find them in the C:// > Documents > My Games > Path of Exile folder. "production_Config.ini" is the file you are looking for, right click the file and hit edit. From there you can ctrl + f search "Sound" to find the [SOUND] section, and change the value of the "sound_effects_volume2=" line to "sound_effects_volume2=false". It basically mutes your game sounds which sucks(just turning down the sound slider in the game settings menu does nothing), but it DID make my juiced blight encounters playable again, combined with the above dx11 change. You can leave your chat notifications/loot filter sounds on, the above line only turns off game sounds. I also turned off the ambient sounds just in case. This is something I have never had to do with blight encounters before in any previous league, and it's definitely awkward playing the game with no sound effects, but at least for now I can run blight again. I'm hoping for a more permanent solution in the future, but this is the best I've got at the moment. I hope it helps some of you guys too. Last edited by Azeon_#1408 on Jun 26, 2025, 1:21:11 AM

Also encountered this, map was almost over, then ui slowly started to flicker until everything was gone and only the map was left with a blue flickering screen.
