It was a bummer that my league start was ruined by these nefarious attacks on the servers, but you win some and lose some in life.

Because im right now in the game - go for run a test "Ping" Merc Lab - and got DC before i enter second room.

This is DDos too?

One of these must be true:

1. They're telling themselves that "our customers are overwhelming our servers with traffic from multiple sources, technically this IS DDoS."
-> GGG isn't lying to us, they're just misrepresenting the truth.

2. The servers have actually been DDoSed for months, especially right after Phrecia ended.
-> GGG has failed to deal with this, it's reasonable to assume this will remain the case.

3. There was a different issue for months, which was fixed at the same time the DDoS started, and the DDoSed caused identical symptoms through pure coincidence.
-> GGG took a very long time to fix an issue completely in their control, it's reasonable to assume they won't be able to fix one partially out of their control as quickly.


League is over. 25% drop off in just 3 or 4 days, it's all about the servers + ggg's special "extra friction" rollbacks which not only take what you gained, but also don't return what you used to gain it.

If they can't even do one league in a whole year right, when they know this is their last chance with many poe1 players, then it's over. Wish I found this game earlier back when my support would have been used on this game, instead of poe2 servers.

Dude its not the first time ggg lied to our faces, the only reason they did this exact post now (while this shit happens every time for 5 years straight im playing this game) is because audience is much bigger now with poe 2 players, and they dont know shit about ggg's attitude to fixing things and listening to feedback. So just to give a good impression like they care at all

It is just too convenient to blame it all on outside sources. Realistically, if this continues even now, chances for a fix in the near future are slim.
