Nothing you posted has SRS minions being buffed offensively in the early acts, only later.

Do you actually play POE2 or just mimic what your favorite steamers say?


At least now, it's crystal clear, for whoever reads this forum that the only purpose for your posts are sheer trolling. This toxic behavior seems to be the standard on this forum and apparently the support seems fine with it.

I'm a toxic troll because I posted my experience from playing the game in 0.2?

I played the game in 0.2, my build (SRS minions) invalidated all difficulty, so I rerolled to something else to make it so that enemies could actually interact with me.

For some reason minion players think this is just too weak? I don't get it, I really don't. Other builds I tried were nowhere near this strong early game, yet minions are cited as "unplayable"?

Non-DOT Casters, for example, were so awful that the game felt nearly unplayable in the early levels. How is minions unplayable when they literally kill the best designed boss in < 30 seconds effortlessly? (Act 1 final boss) I struggled on this boss with my first character first time playing, took 10+ attempts to beat as Huntress btw!

I think you are called a toxic troll because you probably think reaching level 65 and ending the campaign is endgame. Or you are simply lying. I am a minion expert myself, managed to kill Arbiter on the second hardest difficulty in under 6 divines total on a homebrew build, and I can tell you, raging spirits is a campaign skill, not an endgame build. 0 chance you even saw a figment of a pinnacle boss using raging spirits.

It's way worse than that.
The guy is saying minion is overpowered. They are so good it's like using game genie cheat codes as per his word. The reasoning? Because he was able to beat act 1 boss in normal difficulty under 30 seconds.

Nobody ever brags about beating one of the easiest boss of the game in normal mode under 30 sec. It's a campaing boss and he said he dosen't understand the minion complaint, when all he did is beat the first boss of the game, which any class can beat blindfolded at this point. All you need is cold res and win and roll around him.

And even with a post showing him GGG have acknowledged they went too far, he sticks to his take on the minion class felt like "cheat mode enabled" at the launch of 0.2. This is pure gaslighting and sheer trolling. And of course his comeback is to tell me that I don't play the game and I only base my views on "my favorite streamers" even though I have 1500 hours in just with the minion class. But this guy, beating the first boss campaign, he plays the game, and he knows about minions. Early 0.2 my gear was worth around 6000 divs on standard when I stopped caring.

GGG focused on crushing build diversity in 0.2 instead of dealing with glaring issues in normal gameplay, like non-sensical one-shots and impossible to see ground effects.

The devs feel like the are designing the game against the players rather than for the players.

The game stopped being fun. Everything I praised about the game, all of the enjoyment I had was sucked out by these joyless out of touch developers. As though a specific person left the team and the dam broke.

The game stopped being fun and became a chore. This hasn't changed with Patch 0.3 by all appearances.
Game is too hard for casuals. Impossible to land 3rd ascendancy. Tough to climb above level 80. Too many nerfing. They want to cater to the youtuber elites and veteran poe players.

Its smarter to make a game appeal to 20k people instead of 500k of casuals. Steam charts shows this.

Got to mapping, felt any different from story in drops and loot quality, game servers started to ping and stutter horribly in result i got oneshoted by 3 enemies at same time because of that lag and couldnt come back to map because of "revive limit" and i hate being limited by respawns, considering ddos and poor servers perfomance
No classes I was interested in.

Seems like GGG is too busy shoveling new content into the mouths of their whales instead of getting the fundamentals of the game completed (weapons, classes, skills).

I'll be checking again in 4 months, but this is starting to feel a lot like the blizzard experience - being endlessly strung along for reasons which make little to no sense, with no roadmap or transparency from the devs.
They stopped supporting the idea of slow combat, they are gonna make the game like poe 1 because a lot of feedback points them to that direction.

I liked the idea of slower combat pack to pack 5-10 sec each pack on endgame then a 1-3 min bossfight at the end of maps, but there are builds that just oneshot that content with 0 effort and very little currency investment,

Why whould i play a slower build, when i can play lightning spear or something like that tha oneshots everything out of the campaign at lvl 70 with little to no hard mirrors worth of investments,

Look at minions they are at a great place slower combat longer bossfights with them, every build should be balanced around like that without heavhy mirrors worth of investments, bosses should not get oneshoted and they should not oneshot you with every attack.
A couple of reasons, but mainly because of the fact that they pretty much abandoned the idea of meaningful combat... and without that, the game gets boring extremely fast... what's the point of playing if it all just devolves into mindless screen-clearing type farming. Besides that, what am I even farming for if the combat isn't fun in endgame?

Bosses were easily vaporized as well... to give you an idea... I don't even know what the dual bosses in the Trial of the Sekhemas do since they died so fast... it looked like it might be interesting but I have no clue what they do.

Another reason was the poor trading system... however that seems to have been addressed with the next patch... so perhaps there is still hope...

Agree, screen clears should stay in poe 1 they should rework breach ritual the new abyss so that it has far less and slower mobs.

Lmao. Would you be willing to talk about steam charts when 0.3.0 comes out? I swear to god, im going to tag you here when 0.3.0 comes out. IMAGINE calling out steam charts in a game where the whole idea is to play the league for 1-2 months and go play something else.
