This game being early access/beta was another big lie of GGG lol.
IF this game would be still in beta or early access there wouldnt be any leagues every 4 months. There should be updates and tweaks every few weeks until this game reaches 1.0 and is ready for leagues. "The current mapping system was just something we through together so people have something to do" yeah thats why you doubling down on every bad decision that went into that system and its still there lol. |

" Wrong again. I consider Standard perfectly legitimate - for what it is. That doesn't mean its data should drive balance decisions for content that needs to work in league environments where people don't have legacy gear crutches. " Right, so we agree the environments are different. Then why are you arguing that Standard should get new content first for "better data collection" when that data won't translate to how the content actually performs in the environment most players experience? You're contradicting yourself. Either the data is useful across both environments (which you've admitted it isn't), or Standard testing doesn't provide meaningful insights for league balance. Pick one. The whole premise of your argument falls apart when you acknowledge they're different environments but still insist Standard testing benefits everyone. It doesn't. |

" This is a strawman. The data from Standard is for balance decisions in Standard, not league environments. " Not first, together. " It will translate to how the content actually performs in Standard. That's the point. Collect new content data for leagues in leagues and concurrently collect new content data for Standard in Standard. " The number of dialectic errors you've made at this point is astounding. " Option C: The league data is useful for leagues. The Standard Data is useful for Standard. I have not once claimed that Standard data is useful for leagues. That is another strawman. " Strike 3, you're out! I never claimed it benefits everyone. My argument is that it benefits those who play Standard. |

" If that's your position, then you've just made the case against Standard getting new content "together" with leagues. Why would GGG spend development resources creating separate balance profiles for a fraction of their playerbase when they could focus on the primary game mode? " "Together" still means diverting resources from league development to accommodate Standard's unique requirements. You're asking for double the work for marginal benefit. " And there's the rub - you want GGG to maintain two separate balance ecosystems because it benefits Standard players specifically. That's not a compelling argument for resource allocation when leagues drive the game's economy, retention, and revenue. Your whole "separate but equal" data collection fantasy ignores the practical reality that development time is finite. Every hour spent balancing around legacy interactions is an hour not spent on content that actually moves the game forward. But sure, keep pretending this is about "fairness" when it's really about wanting special treatment for your preferred game mode. |

new trade system pls
..waiting 0.3 |

" Hitting the "ON" switch for the new content in Standard is all that's required. Your claim that this requires extra resources is false. Nothing is diverted. The workload remains the same. The benefit is that Standard players get to enjoy the new content too and GGG now has more data to better fine-tune how that content gets finalized. " GGG is actively already doing this. Currently, at the end of a league, final adjustments are made before Standard ever gets to see the new stuff. My argument is that GGG can still do that but implement the rough cut in Standard at the same time as they launch the league. The data from standard during that league only helps this process. " The funny bit is this whole time I've been arguing for permitting more people to participate - at the cost of no one - while you are claiming they should be excluded. Who's the one really asking for special treatment? Last edited by LeFlesh#9979 on Jul 15, 2025, 6:50:06 PM

Revamping trade would alleviate 90% of the issues players currently face. From mapping to building diversity.

I am ok with waiting for the next update, however this update needs to have more then some QoL changes. I didn't wait 5 months just for a "League Mechanic" that will not keep people engaged in your current state of the game. Gonna need to do more then add one class into the game at a time and shift the end game, that does not keep people engaged for a majority of your league. If I have to level through acts 1-3 twice one more time im gonna scream. How about the rest of the game and classes, not this one class at a time per 4 months crap no offense but that = shit content and only keeps people engaged for 1-2 weeks tops. If all the game can offer is a 1-2 week engagement, then why even play. Don't start being like Blizzard Entertainment ffs.
