Why make minions that suck?

i been bringing crazy awareness to these issues, watch my end game spectres not able to kill normal difficulty bosses lol, i dont understand why spectres do 100-200 dps drives me crazy, how these game developers are not fixing these issues

Because if minions are too good players won't have to push buttons. They don't want you to play a walking simulator. They want you to actively react to the threats along the way and make you engage with the game.

if they don't want a passive minions do the heavy lifting playstyle cool. but as it seems to stand currently. it's just actively hamstringing you to take minions over literally any other option. so if you are just making them trap bait get rid of them.
