High itemlevel shouldnt have low tier stats - More orbs aren't a good solution

+1 bump

I was thinking the same thing. This tiered item/currency bloat is getting totally out of hand.

They absolutely do. They've talked about it on various interviews and their resistance to automated trade for so many years has been due to an abundance of caution on the economy.
I'm really not a fan of "greater" and "perfect" exalted, chaos, etc.

IMO it should just be the same way as POE 1, because that makes me feel like we're going to have 10 tiers of every currency item and that just feels ridiculous and has resemblance of modern gacha phone games that have all these tokens, stars, Level x1000 boosters, all that kinda crap.

IMO - leave it was the way it was

(Named Orb)

not

Named Orb
Lesser Named Orb
Greater Named Orb
Perfect Named Orb

Too much bloat, it also makes you wonder if they will eventually change POE 1 to be the same thing.

I can't remember anymore what they used to have but poe1 had a bunch of this stuff that was compressed into what we have now.

From memory i think it was just essences but i cant remember exactly.

I am not exactly sure what the people's problem is with more orbs. My personal problem is that crafting a good item in this system takes too much currency for normal players.

But new orbs are simply an improvement of an existing system. Why should you be forced to click 10000 times when you can click 2000 times with new orbs (or whatever the number ends up being)?

The fact of the matter is that top-tier crafting is intentionally VERY hard to do, and is reserved for the top percentage of players. Since it requires god knows how many clicks until an item is crafted, might as well lower the number of clicks somehow...

We, normal people, will simply sell them the orbs, no matter how they are called or how many of them there are. We might interact with the orbs once or twice just for the novelty of it, perhaps.

And THAT is what we all should be complaining about. That we don't get to use the orbs, not how many of them there are.
