"This torrent only includes the GGPK file, so you’ll need to copy it into your actual install folder once the patching server is up, no earlier than three hours before Path of Exile 2: The Third Edict launches. Please note that you can’t use this GGPK file with the Steam and Epic client."
Hello, I would like to raise a concern about the way the update instructions were communicated. Why wasn’t it clearly explained from the start that users are expected to manually replace the GGPK file? How is an average player supposed to understand this on their own? For a regular user, downloading a torrent means getting the entire game, not a single file that has to be manually swapped out. Yet this important detail wasn’t properly communicated anywhere. The instructions are vague and confusing, and it feels like the burden of figuring things out is being shifted onto players unnecessarily. Please clarify why this was not explained properly, and consider providing clearer guidance in the future so that players don’t waste time trying to guess how your update process works. Thank you |

Hi,
I am trying to download the "content.ggpk" file, and it is downloaded with speed 10K/s (???), with remaining time of 4 weeks and two days. I am connected to 8 seeds and 18 peers. is this normal? |

I can't seem to find the pre-download option for PS5 (London). Does anyone know where to find it?
Note: just the new patch option, so is this available or do I need to redownload the entire game? Last edited by DasSmithStar#8903 on Aug 29, 2025, 4:02:28 AM

" It was the same when 0.2.0 came out. The torrent pre-download is an option alright, however it seems it's not a useful option with those download times of days or weeks. It's way quicker to just wait for release and update. It seems like there's going to be around 2h to update the game before servers go live, should be enough with high-speed internet. |

if they basically provide no servers, the torrent is so useless, omg xD
will just download it tonight |

" Well I hadn't used the torrent option in the past. I think based on the transfer rate I'm seeing versus time that I can wait until the normal patching starts be done with that long before this is done... I get up super early so I was in bed before they put the torrent up. Not sure if I had still been up and started it then that it would be done before I could just patch... Anyway now I know. |
