Eternal knight OP

Im failing +1 maps because these things reflect my attacks and once shot me and they everywhere in tight spaces that are unavoidible.

I call them Deadeye counter.
+1 spark sorc here, and its impossible not to trigger it 20 times a second lol literally the only mob that kills me and rips through my 5k ES in a split second the amount fo times i come across this mob and die instantly makes me believe im really not going to progress further.

These mob/rare are absolutely deadly - melts my stormweaver in 1-2 secs. If they spawn in Ritual - then its nigh impossible. Can't dodge, can't heal enough, can't out DPS them. I've died sooo many times to this monster - possibly 75% of my deaths this season.

Please, can GGG looked putting some sense of balance to this overtuned OP beast of a monster.

How is that a counter to Deadeye? just kill them in melee and dodge their melee attack, they don't shoot projectiles in melee.

if you thing they are "deadeye counter". Then try minions/totems - these knights deflect projectiles not back to attacking minion/totem, but to player... which is ridiculous. Imagince put 3-4 chaos dot on a pack of mobs and then place effigy totem... to realise there is some "knight" hiden within a pack... just to barrage you with a machinegun
overall game speed issue, rather than mob design issue.
many things , including these guys, are designed around slower gameplay more like we have in campaign. but for some reason endgame powercreep went out of control , especially in 0.3.

Guess they're NOT a design flaw!

(Only joking, I hate when melee complain about melee issues and ranged chars chime in with "hurr durr I kill it fine". I hope they fix it, it does sound frustrating to play against!)

They are just bad, they have infinite block (and dont get stunned), unlike pretty much any other shield bearing mob, any other one. They retaliate on each projectile. The retaliation cannot be dodged passively, either.
The rares can spawn with physical damage aura and regen life.

I have not died to them for many a level but still they are the true bane on anything not melee only. For example they would retail on explosive spear thrown at them directly (on in front) but not side, pretty much any aoe that doesn't hit them directly but clips them on the side. They can be one shot with the spear default attack which is funny (or disengage). They can be kept busy with any melee minion (hi rhoa), though.

They are very deadly for anything that chains or forks, esp. with the glorious fog.

In places like ritual, they are exceptionally terrible to have them spawn, esp. if it's a rare.

I m playing Deadeye Crossbow Crit build (%100 on full life %50 normal with %1310 multiplyer) Definetely not my counter. Even if it reflects single Galvanic Shot of mine , he collapses on the ground thanks to Crossbow crit knockback power.


Spew your Deadeye hate another place. There are tons of projectile builders in this game.
