Can confirm this. It seems the game state became even worse since last fixes. I'm leveling the second character now and freezes and sound bugs catch me at Act 1 that never been happen at the league start.

I've been playing using my normal ps5 in "standard" (not league), on a standard 1920x1080 tv. While I've managed to reach level 75 and am working on T8 map clears at the moment, the performance optimization lag and sound looping issues is absolutely horrendous. Sure, once in a while I might experience short periods of network stutters (perhaps once every couple hours?), but this is an entirely different and much less pronounced issue comparatively speaking.

Developers / support team @ GGG, it would be highly appreciated if someone can formally acknowledge that GGG doesn't consider the state of ps5 performance to be anywhere near "optimized" and that there are future plans to do so. It's currently very common to drop to what feels like single-digit FPS when things get hairy.

This does not fix the issue. I also on a PS5 pro and my internet connection is quite fast 1gbit glasfiber, after today's patch still persist with this issue. Hard to fight a boss when the game skips frames.

Performance is worse than last league, and whoever designed shade walkers and the lead game designer that approved this need to be permabanned from making games.

it just seems like we arent getting a response after numerous threads and replies.

Do you think it will be fixed with 0.4?

I have given up on any improvements this season.

It's bad since dece,ber 2024 0.4 won't fix anything. Will be a miracle if anything changes at official launch tbh :D

I am on PS5 and act 1 was okay, then it just started so bad, every 3 -5 seconds it pauses. I get the "Paused" message.
Now in Act 3 it doesn't even pause, it just stops and then 2- 3 seconds later everything catches up, and I am mostly dead all the time.

Impossible to fight elites or tough mobs..
My internet is 1 Gig but averages around 700 download and 400 upload.

I changes different servers, and used Auto, nothing seems to help.

FYI, I played the "Other" game I won't mention; and I zoom around and in high intensity mobs or zones dungeons I have no lag whatsoever.


GGG please take a look at PS5 connectivity, there maybe something there you guys are missing.
